I'm scared and amazed.....wow.....

This feels like the precursor to a murder, and it's scaring me but also providing immaculate vibes.

POV: you are driving through some foreign state(by yourself) and you see what looks like a village or something, you then realize you are almost out of gas so you pull over and go into the village. You feel something change as you step into it, somethings not right. You see people walking around in strange clothes, they are all staring at you but not coming near you. As you walk around trying to find someone who is friendly. You see a paper fly past you, you catch it and the first thing that you see is the date “ August 24th 1692” you realize what that means right away, but not before a man grabs you by the arm and takes you away to a large room filled with many other men and women. They ask you what your business is in Salem and what your name is, you tell them your name they say that’s fine, you tell them your car broke down and you needed gas, not a good decision on your part, they ask what is a car you lead them to where you later your car but it’s not there anymore. They start getting even more suspicious and start questioning you further they then tell you to go to a house at the far end of the town they say “ stay there until the morning” you do, in the morning you are awakened by a woman getting you ready you ask her what’s going on she tells you that you will be burned at the stake for being a witch you plea her and tell them over and over again you aren’t a witch. They don’t believe you of course, as you are being tied to the stake you hear someone yelling cut. Apparently it was just for a show, the people who played the colonists look up at you as if they were mad they say you are lucky and let you go on your way, the car was returned to you with a full tank of gas. As you are driving away you get to thinking about how if it was just a show why were there charred carcasses on the other stakes
