For context: Nearby thunderstorms affected the show’s duration tonight and canceled the opening act Nikki Lane. Lana was only given a 90-minute window before the next storm rolled in. A security guard stopped her after “Summertime Sadness” and told her she could do 1 song before they released the audience early for safety. She decided on “Video Games” before we were all told to GTFO.
I’m glad we got to experience the show since Lana was still upset over her 2015 concert in the city that was canceled due to lightning. She joked with the audience earlier saying she thought history was about to repeat itself but thankfully didn’t.
My only regret is that I still haven’t seen Ocean Blvd’s title track performed live which once again was cut last-minute. 🥲⛈️
