It makes more sense than anything else. They are Henry’s two parents ... and if Emma were a man it would have been the end goal and probably on and of from the beginning. The writers really missed something extremely obvious and perfect.

I believe some of those photos were taken and released by the company that was used for filming of the show or a company that was hired to take help promote the show. Likely the later. Either way a business involved in filming the show realized yeah we need to release more pics of these two together! That'll really excited the fans!

Yeah like at the end of Season 5. They could have kept Hook dead, and Robin was dead, it would have been the perfect time to put Emma and Regina together. They could have connected over loss, and then their love for Henry. Plus with the evil queen coming in season 6, it would have been so good.

The show writers were GOING to legit put Emma and Regina together at some point, but because younger viewers (kids) started watching, they were worried about negative popularity. I think this hurt the show. Lana was obviously ready for that relationship to happen between R & E, but the writers didn’t and missed out on an opportunity for Swan Queen!

It became dangerous for both actresses off screen. After a few seasons you wouldn't see them sharing pictures together or side by side in public as it became a heavy problem. Eventually they were never together for cons or pictures.

I had to work hard to understand what he was saying, since I speak Spanish, but with what I could understand it was enough to know how beautiful person is Lana I loved the way his character evolved, and She interprets it perfectly. It really seems to me that the opportunity to put a couple as good as it could have been SwanQueen was lost, they had a great story, which, like Regina, evolved beautifully, and after the first few seasons they began to perceive a lot of chemistry between Emma and Regina. ¡¡SWANQUEEN THE BEST SHIP EVER!!

You don't have to be a Lana hater or homophobic to dislike SwanQueen...geeeze. For the record, the Regina/Emma relationship, whatever it may be or could have become, is what kept me coming back. Idc if they're bffs or lovers or married, they're soulmates and I love every scene that they're together in. Their bond and love is strong and beautiful to watch.

1:05 Don't get me wrong. I am a 100% swen but when Lana said Emma and Regina make a pretty hot couple, she touched the back of her neck which is a body language that signified discomfort, which could mean that she is lying. The Magic Bean I agree. And then I think she became aware that she was doing it and switched the microphone to that hand, possibly to curb the impulse. She could have been nervous about being up there in general, or about saying the wrong thing because there has been fan backlash before - I’m not exactly sure. But she has said in the past that she sees Emma and Regina more as friends, and I doubt that that’s changed. (I also am a big Regina and Emma fan - I do wish Lana felt more comfortable to say exactly how she feels though.)

Yes! She could be nervous. She rubs her neck a lot. It’s also a sign of nervousness. Saying anything about a homo couple is challenging in the spotlight because people attack you.

Если вкратце, то она со всей ответственностью и толерантностью говорит, что lgbt+ это нормально, и она поддерживает это движение. И на счет swanqueen отмечает, что это чудесная идея, которая ей очень нравится, ибо за время сьемок Лана поняла, что Эмма с Реджиной могут быть прекрасной парой двух сильных-независимых женщин лидеров, чьи отношения прошли путь от напреженных до крайне дружеских. И вообще, она поддерживает все шиппинги 🖤

She had to tow the party line while she was still under contract with Disney and ABC. ABC is a very conservative network, they had to fight tooth and nail to allow Ruby to be gay and notice how she was NOT in the show afterwards. It was a bone they allowed to be thrown to the LGTB community to shut them up about SwanQueen.

I think when she says she supports it she means that she supports the right for Swan Queen to exist, and had it been written canonically, she would have acted the part. However, she has said in past interviews that she sees Emma and Regina more as friends. I’m an avid Swan Queen shipper btw; I just am reporting what I’ve seen from her interviews and based on her body language, that Swan Queen isn’t her vision for the characters

Sierra Aboulhassani shes also said in the past that she’s read swen fanfics so who really knows but I think she restrained from showing complete support because of Jmo and her own contract. Jmo supports the idea of the ship and is in no way homophobic but many rumours have come up that she was the reason in the first place that it didn’t happen. So maybe Lana stuck to ABC’s rules and Jmo’s wishes and said that she only saw them as friends.

Honestly SwanQueen would’ve been cute, buuut it’s a bit convenient from a writing standpoint. The adopted parent and birth parent fall for each other? A bit too fairytale even for a fairytale show.
