In this video I will review the new Lancome La vie est bell Rose extraordinaire floral eau de parfum. La vie est belle Rose extraordinaire is the newest addition to the iconic La Vie est belle family. This fragrance is a modern take on the rose. Lancome describe this new perfume as luminous floral.
The first La vie est belle fragrance was released in 2012 and was created by Olvier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo and it became the first gourmand iris of the house.
The bottle of the new La vie est Belle Rose extraordinaire La Vie Est Belle is reinvented by the renowned artist Catherine Krunas.

I started wearing La Vie est Belle when it was first released-I even had to teach the sales associate at the shop I went to how to pronounce it! It was the first perfume I was ever complimented for in public by a male stranger, and to date is the one that men seem to like the most. I even had one gentleman run after me on a Chicago sidewalk to get the name so he could buy his wife a bottle. Definitely looking forward to trying this new version, and very much appreciate how in-depth you were here about the entire line, as well as the newest iteration!

I don’t like the og LVEB. However I liked the iris absolu, and I did buy myself the L’extrait. LVEB L’extrait is so breathtakingly beautiful that I wish they’d make it a permanent. I do like the Rose extraordinaire and I might get it. Usually I don’t like strong rose fragrances so the iris makes it a lot more palatable for me. I love Iris.

I’m not a fan of many of the La Vie Est Belle fragrances. The original has too much patchouli on my skin. But, I do really love the Iris Absolu. I’d be interested to smell this next to Idole, which is one of my favorite fresh rose fragrances. Also, your hair is absolutely stunning in this video!!

It is so much fun hearing the history of Lancome!! ❤ I received a bottle of Tresor as a gift I believe in about 2002. I loved it so much and have not had a bottle since! This inspires me to test it again when I am at a fragrance counter and to tesr the new version! I absolutely LOVE the original! 🌹🌷🌹

I love the same top two as you but I also really enjoy the Iris Absolou it is a little unusual and I don’t smell it so often on other people. I find it fresh with an almost slightly medicinal top note which dries down to a much sweeter but very long lasting scent, but now I think I need to add this new addition to my collection !

Apart from the original La Vie est Belle, my true favorites were the Eau de Toilette version, the Eau Florale, and now LVEB en Rose. Looking forward to getting the Rose Extraordinaire. I loved Climat back in the ‘80’s, and now Idôle is another new favorite.🌹❤️🌹

Thank you for this informative and helpful review. I sampled the LVEB Extraordinaire recently with some caution and hope. I’ve been a lover of the original LVEB but for some reason, the formula flares up my asthma. I haven’t fallen for the new formulas but LOVED this fragrance. I think it’s my new signature scent. I sprayed the fragrance on my scarf and over 36hrs later and it’s still captivating and projecting. Highly recommend trying.

I loved hearing the history of Lancôme perfumes and beauty in general. I’m not used to their perfumes, but I do remember the Miracle and Tresor the most. Both were lovely! Hi Christina :) I've always loved Lancome's perfumes ad Tresor Midnight Rose has been my favorite one - maybe because it was gifted to me by my partner. I recently acquired the La vie est belle line because somehow the whole message and the delicious and feminine scents resonated with me. When you go to your local retailer, try to smell the new Alien Hypersense by Mugler. I am purchasing it right now. I used one sample and I have fallen in love. It is an extraordinary white floral woody scent. Very elegant and beautiful on my skin. Have a wonderful day and thank you always for the kindness! xoxo

The only LVEB that stayed in my collection is LVEB L’Extrait, the one that you had in your hand in this video. I’ve tested Rose Extraordinaire today and I like it a lot, but I’m not sure it’s a love… I’ll keep testing it to see if it comes to the collection. I do love the bottle… ❤

Hi Sierra, Thank you so much for the kindest words. Midnight Rose is a very special perfume for me - maybe my most special perfume. For the first time it was gifted to me by Nick, my partner and I have such lovely memories :) I always have this perfume in my collection and this has been my most complemented perfume over the years. ❤ I just discovered a gorgeous new fragrance that you might want to try as well when you go to your fragrance retailer- it's the new Alien Hypersense by Mugler. It's different from La vie est belle or Midnight Rose but I am purchasing it right now after using a sample. It's a beautiful white floral woody scent with musk undertones. Try it on your skin. Most of Mugler's perfumes don't work well on paper strips. I haven't been that attracted to a scent in a while. I will not review it because sadly my fragrance videos don't perform well and this is discouraging. Have a wonderful day! xoxo

My favourite one is LVEB En Rose and the original in small doses. Excellent history of the brand and review Angela ❤. One small criticism is the price point of this newest LVEB, it's nudging Chanel. My lovely Lancome consultant is not impressed! Wishing you a lovely evening and week from 🇬🇧.

Hi lovely ❤️ They are very much like Chanel in terms of prices and quality. In the past Lancome had better prices than Chanel. But also you can still find lots of discounts on Lancome's beauty and fragrances. Chanel almost never offer discounts. I love both brands. xoxo

Chanel's fragrances are always a bit heavier and not as romantic as Lancôme's best sellers. the original la vie est belle is truly stunning! ❤ You may try Chance eau tendre by Chanel or Paris Paris; and Paris -Venice from the les Eaux line. These are more feminine and tender perfumes. xoxo

Hi Angela, is the bottle with the engraving of a rose a new product? I live in Canada and went to a department store retailer to sample it. I love the beautiful bottle. The salesperson told me that bottle was from 5 years ago.Is this true? I sampled La Vie est Belle from another bottle, but I was disappointed about the bottle with the rose.

Hi lovely, The new Miss Dior has mostly jasmine. Jasmine is at the heart of the fragrance and the opening is with strawberry and sweet orange. The new La vie est belle has rose notes and a touch of iris. Both are gorgeous floral perfumes. For me it's hard to pick a favorite because jasmine and rose are two of my favorite scents. If you prefer jasmine, then choose Miss Dior, if you prefer rose, then La vie est belle will be the winner. xoxo
