Yea it seems as though Aaron is naturally a good teacher and Lance is naturally a quick learner. Those lucky bastards. I often wonder how good I'd be at skating if I had a best friend who was a pro skater.

I love how excited Lance gets about skateboarding even if there's better people around, not feeling discouraged but really soaking up all the knowledge and help available and pushing himself to get over the fear and everything else stopping him. It's really motivating.

it got me skating again he looks my age and is progressing like fucking crazy. and I know some great skaters I used to party with as I've always stayed in the community even though I quit. I want to get better before I surprise them that I skate again. I want to at least be able to grind shit and kick/hellflip + the other basics

I really enjoy watching this dude learn how to skate, it's refreshing and motivating to see someone going for new tricks no matter the difficulty. I also get nostalgic and remember how it was for me when I first started learning them. This is cool.

Watching Lance learn has been the most helpful thing. He’s a fast learner, but it’s good to see someone go through the same issues you yourself face when learning tricks. Lance, you are super lucky to have Aaron as you personal teacher. Keep it up guys and thanks for all the helpful videos.

Man I just cannot get over how quickly Lance is progressing. It seems like just yesterday you were having so much trouble just learning to ollie while standing still. Now, you're pretty comfortable doing ollies from a standstill, while cruising, and while going super fast. You're getting better at a pretty much spectacular rate. Congrats man, and keep it up! Haha no matter what Aaron said about coming in straighter, Lance still did the same thing everytime. I think it would've been good to to have some chalk and draw a guideline for him to follow. He was always a foot or more out than he needed to be.

I'm having a tough time controlling where my board goes during an ollie. I can ollie stationary or straight while rolling but ollieing onto anything parallel or needing to turn fs or bs a specific amount I can't seem to control. I can fs 180 while rolling but idk if it's in the way you turn your head or shoulders but I'll be turning them and the board doesn't join me in my intentions ha...

Hey Aaron, noticed in all your videos when you are standing around playing with the board, you pop it with back foot only and get it to do all kinds of flips. As someone who as struggled to get the board to flip accurately in any direction even with forefoot, this is very impressive and kinda mind boggling. How do you get a kickflip motion from backfoot pop only?

how can you guys not slip off?i tried once on a cover cover smooth by other skaters.i only manage to ollie up the front trucks and it jus slip off straight away.almost broke my arm in 1 of the 3 attempts cos i fell.... since im scared of doing things not flat land...or should i say not improving as i rarely skate now.

i think a good way to teach some one the angle for a 50-50 is to put cones to guide them where to ollie from, because lance couldnt seem to find the right angle for the most part. the cones would force him to go at the right angle i know its old but just for the future, or if some one else wants to teach some one 50-50s.
