Lance veteran abusing the cavalry sword in 2022

There is rarely anything more satisfying in a FPS game then meele kills from horseback. In some cases the sword can be REALLY strong but it lacks the consistency and range of the lance.

Sword still has its place on really tight maps like lukpow imo many places to outplay the Lance on those maps

I didnt like it lupkow and thought its due the fact that lances were introduced with lupkow. But I noticed when you ride slow you can create a wall of blades. :)

The sword got its place. If things get crowded, it is just quicker. Also for hallway clearing. On Passchendaele and sometimes Nivelle I take it over the lance. And for a silly Ballroom Blitz hallway kamikaze, which I think I pushed to 8 kills once.

If only theres a calvary mode Attackers ride on horses all of them Defenders stand your ground then retreat once the objactive is taken 2nd objective got 2 mounted machineguns 3rd objective got 2 mgs 1 field gun (Basicly that calvary charge from War horse (minus the field gun part))

Honestly I just use each melee weapon by how much I like the vibes and how much I think it fits with each country's uniform. So saber for the British French and turks and lance for the Germans and Russians

Brilliant montage, the editing the music choice it all justs fits together so damn well! And it's good to see that I'm not crazy for liking the sword over the lance sometimes, if only for the crunch you get when kill someone with it.

Honestly, as a lance main, I can't do shit with sword. So much that I use only rifle and horse itself primarily to kill enemies because trying to use sword always get me killed. The timing feels so tight with sword.

Holy shit i hope i never encounter you in game 😂. Amazing montage chefs kiss on the short pause in the track before you kill the guy trying yo bayonet charge you. Amazing gameplay, makes me want to step up my mediocre horse gsme.

Tbh I could never get the lance to work, it felt even more inconsistent than the sword. Until now I thought the lance was useless

The sword felt good if you encounter many enemies close range or if they walk sideways through your screen. But overall the lance is just consistent af, if you get the timing.

good timing right now you have b2b frontlines as weekly rotation unitl monday, you can find it on the bf1 starting screen. Its 16v16 with bolt action rifles only. Very nice for training.

The Lance imo beats the sword in range and consistently and makes 1v1ing horses easier however lacks swinging speed. but the sword is faster but suffers from inconsistency. One of the biggest takeaways from this video is how very little your camera movement is. When I play I move the camera like crazy and after watching your video makes me feel like I am making it harder on myself when lining up a target. Im going to try keeping my camera more straight and less movement the better.

I am from germany The sword is more direct in timing and hitbox area but you get faster attack speed. In case you need to fight a sentry with perosa or MG 08/15 you need to roadkill him because only the charge attack of a lance can kill a sentry of this type.

you need to own premium pass, revolutions or the russian dlc I think simply select horse in spawn screen, click on the cav sword and either pay with warbonds or its already unlocked, I dunno which is true.
