It is what it is. Early 90's rust protection on an italian car and UK climate originate corrosion. Analyse it, and what needs to be repaired, you do it. Maybe one of these next years a repaint, and its preparation will be made with modern primes and thinking on british constraints on rain and salty "air". That car is an icon, but it's italian from early 90's. Drive it and enjoy it ! Corrosion is a characteristic of these gen Lancias, part of their "soul" ! Why was the cross member not removed to repair it? Or better still find a replacement, cause it is going to rot again.
