Lancia Stratos HF Rally PURE Ferrari V6 Engine Sound!

This is a compilation I made of one of the most iconic rally cars, the Lancia Stratos HF Group 4. This beauty is powered by a mid-mounted Dino Ferrari V6 engine producing 280hp and 275nm of torque. Only 50 Stratos rally were made! Make sure you turn up the volume because the sound it makes is absolutely incredible!
Videos were taken during the Rally Legend in San Marino.

It's funny how the Stratos has such a short wheelbase, when it's raining, the driver just blips the throttle, instead of even trying to slide it. He knows it will go bass ackwards in a heartbeat. Haha.

Best ferrari engine ever made... Powerfull enough to digest any road, reliable and tuff.... To me even the most beautifull rally car ever made.... And the sound trough the trees.. Pure nostalgic.

Same. But unfortunately, instead of a roaring carbureted N/A V6, we got a vacuum cleaner V6 turbo.

I've always loved V8's especially old school cross plane V8's but there's something so racey sounding about a six. Especially an Italian V6. To me that's how a race car should sound.

They ruled Class B rallying, for 2 years I believe it was, then they were ruled illegal - just because they won. My all time favorite.

how much does this car go for in other countries? i looked it up here in germany and the only two sales i saw were more than half a million euros for the base model

Michael Coenen Kann ich nur bestätigen. Das ist eine richtige Kampfsau. Ich habe selber einen. Ich habe lange,sehr lange an der Restaurierung gesessen. Er wurde in der Rallye Ausführung wieder aufgebaut. Mit allem drum und dran. Hab auch ein H Kennzeichen bekommen. Man muss tierisch aufpassen das der Arsch nicht ausbricht. In der Kurve einmal zuviel Schmott und der Arsch überholt dich ganz fix. Allerdings ist er aufgrund sein kurzen Radstandes in engen Kurven super zu Händeln. Er ist wirklich tierisch laut. Aber ein Hingucker. Man kann ihn jedoch nicht jeden Tag ausführen. Bin schon oft angehalten worden. Weil er halt berstig Laut ist und die Polizei immer wieder nachguckt wegen den Papieren. Naja,wann sieht man so ein Biest mal auf freier Wildbahn. Ich mache mir immer nen Spaß draus. Da es Originalteile sind ist es halt legal. Und die Lautstärke? Ich sage dann immer:" Was kann ich dafür wenn Lancia nen Sportwagen baut der so ist wie er ist. Über die Lautstärke des Fahrzeugs hatte man sich damals keine Gedanken gemacht." Und dann steige ich wieder ein fahre weg. Natürlich mit einem Mordsgetöse. Was meinst was los ist auf der Straße wenn ich damit in der Stadt bin! Überall gehen die Daumen hoch und ein Grinsen im Gesicht. Und dann immer diese Geste:"Gib mal ein bißchen Gas." Was man jedoch nicht außer Acht lassen sollte ist der Verbrauch an Sprit. Das tut manchmal richtig Aua im Geldbeutel.

That's a Dino v6 built by Ferrari. HF2000 is a kitcar, but the actual name of the original is Stratos HF

HF is Lancia’s tuning division. Similar to what Cosworth was to Ford or Abarth was to Fiat. You see HF badges on many of the racing Lancias, such as the Lancia Delta Intergrale. HF stands for High Fidelity.

Augvald I'm the other way around. I much prefer the sound of the Dino V6 to the Busso V6. But either way both sound fantastic. The two represent how good a six cylinder can sound, that's for sure!! :)

Even if it "just" made 190 Hp this engine is ear porn..! Lancia Stratos one of the best designs ever. Today's cars are just boring gay looking and have no soul. Bertone design, Lancia chassis, and Ferrari engine..can't top that.

Indeed, and besides.. If we really care about nature hydrogen gas is really 0% emission. And usable in any combustion engine with a little bit of modifications. No need for extremely expensif batteries. Who are very hard to recycle...
