Figures. All the good stuff which was made to last is long gone now. Recently had a Jarvis Walker Black Queen rebuilt - love the bend and action. Great for subduing big bream on light line. Used to catch plenty of good bream in the Scamander River, Tasmania - gun bait was live crabs very lightly weighted or as in your case, unweighted! Love your videos and have watched all of them. Frank :)

As little as possible. Feeding the line out with a small sinker will get to the bottom

I’m guessing that’s a comp. don’t know anything about it. I haven’t fished comps in the last 35 years. Wouldn’t know where to start.

Hase Inlet can be good at times. Also wading the flats west of the Woody Pt Jetti

Hi Wayne, are you casting with no sinker at all to minimise snags? Do you keep the bait just under the water to stop the hook getting snagged? Sorry , I am new to this?

Depends on tide, depth and current. The sinker size is mostly between nil, 000, 00 or 0.

In the gut of a mullet is a very hard ball. Commonly referred to as an onion

Hey mate I’m fairly new to fishing I’m based in Scarborough would you know any spots that you would be willing to share to get me started looking at taking the young fella out for a fish lures or bait don’t mind

I have a ton of videos that cover fishing on the peninsula. They cover spots, species, baits etc. just search the species or area on my channel and you should find something. Your question is very broad. Are you land based or in a boat. Are you fishing with fresh bait or artificial baits. Etc.

@@caseydruery1662 some good spots to start would places like Redcliffe jetty. That usually produces good numbers and whilst not always big it’s still good fun. Quite a lot of people go there however. Scott’s point is a good place to go. Scarborough marina can also have some good fish
