Land Cruiser - Exhaust Mod, O2 Sensors, Cat removal

I'm replacing the pesky, noisy cat with straight pipes, replacing the O2 sensors, and repairing a section of exhaust. Rusty bolts give me trouble so I end up fabricating some of my own parts. Check it out!
To be clear, deleting any emissions equipment is considered against federal regulations. I think that if you did an emissions test after removing any of this equipment you would probably not pass. This is considered for "offroad" use only.

Do you guys have the blower for the fuel rail? I have a theory on how and why the emissions is designed the way it is.

Struggling to line the flanges up is why you first bolt them back and the weld the pipe to them. The clamped part you cut slits into so you can clamp the pipe down tight. Bonus of a decat is better economy and more power😁😎👍👍👍

Would there be a benefit going to 3 inch? I'm about to replace the exhaust on my FJ62. I remember loosing some power last time I replaced the exhaust, not sure why. I replaced the O2 sensors as well that time, so that was probably it.

Hows the exhaust wrap holding up? Was there a significant drop in temperature coming off the exhaust where you wrapped it?

How’s it all going after a year? Did the putty seal those whole’s properly? Did you feel a power increase after deleting the two 🐈’s?

I felt like it was well worth the delete. Slight power increase, more clearance underneath, nice engine sound. The pipe clamps were enough to seal it up.

What year is your Land Cruiser? I have a 93 and most likely will be needing to replace my O2 sensors. Right now I have someone rebuilding the Mass Air Flow Sensor since it went bad and I could not part one out anywhere. Thanks for the video

Mine is a 91 with the 3FE engine. I believe your engine is the next generation of straight 6, and the exhaust layout may be different. However, the O2 sensor replacement process is probably similar. Hopefully your bolts are rusted and seized like mine were, haha.

Nice video where did you buy the O2 sensors? I have the same engine
