Love the videos. You do great work. I’m in the USA and I bought my first accessories from you and they arrived this week. Very exciting! By the way, I was in the Army and the MOLLE gear we had we pronounced it like MOLLY. Maybe just a difference between countries.

Excellent idea. I could see lots of different future accessories being thought of such as a slot in side table / shelf for camping. For the roof rail fixings it might be worthwhile also adding some thread lock as a belt and braces fix to resist potential movement / loosening when the hoops are used as fixing points and a suggested torque for the side fixings. :-)

Would be great if you could mount Maxtrax to the Molle plate. Also maybe the rear side panel for the switches, consider a lockable door to access the switches or a space for recovery gloves, shackles or tyre pressure gauges etc.

Hi Simon, just a thought with the template - with the waist cover off, If you put the two bolts loosely in to hold the template it would line up for the third to be marked/drilled rather than keep taking the cover off and on? Great product and video - keep them coming.

Have you seen the rear mounted ladder? this would work well with this molle plate.

These look good. Not trying to give you more work but... Any plans for a tailgate table? A few owners have modified one designed for the wrangler, uses the existing bolts on the tailgate trim. Cheers, Steve. 😉

Simon, have you seen lucky8's "plastic square" delete? I think your Defender would look amazing now that you have the MOLLE plates on each side if you were to delete the white squares on the rear windows. . ..

Those Molle plates would be great for Discovery 3/4 too! Are you considering a version for those models?

If your going to put the switchs on that rear panel try making a new panel with the switches recessed and have a power isolation switch inside the back door to kill all power to the panel, so someone can't just walk passed your car and turn the lights on and kill your battery over night without you knowing, even if you just add a relay in each circuit and a single power switch to power them all on, BTW love the mollie plates but please do them for other models and even a universal flat one so people can build there one system, great vid

Hey, I use the frontrunner roffrack. So my question is, if we bring the upper two “flaps” with the wholes in an 90 degrees angle, should it work, with drilled wholes in the roffrack rails, that it fits with screws? In theory it sounds possible. Any experience with that? If not, in January I will start a try. 😊

I love these videos and I've already bought stuff off you. Keep up the good work. In the video you mentioned that you might have something to mount a petrol can here. I wonder if a petrol can mount will attach to this or if you will design a totally different part for mounting a petrol can. I really like these but I'm trying to decide if I should wait to buy something different from you to mount a petrol can or if I should just buy this now and there will be something else later that adds on to to this for petrol can mounting. It would be cool if I can just stick a petrol can onto this thing when I need it then I can use it for other purposes when I don't need a petrol can mounted on there or just purely aesthetic when I don't need anything on there.

You need to create something for the MaxxTrax recovery boards. There are NO accessories for the roof rack. I had to make my own fittings for an Awning.

This looks cool. But I think a maxtrax holder would be more useful and look even cooler 😀

Possible to mount this to a 90? On the site it specifies the 110 only. Feels like something perfect for a 90 since the smaller model has to be more creative with the use of space than it's bigger brother

Oh Simon... take it from this 20 year US Navy Veteran and 4 Rover Owner (including a new 110) who helped test the MOLLE system... it's not a "Maul" plate, it's pronounced "Molly" like the girl's name. Every time you say it I cringe.
