It’s comes from the sunroof drain tubes. I’ve been having the same problems. The fix for me was to use a air gun to push compressed air through the drain tubes. This solved my problems.. best of luck

It could also be the A/c drinks pipes are clogged up. You have to go through the bottom of the truck and poke them with a stick or something long, they look like cones, be careful because water will come pouring from there make sure you poke both of them.

The air hvac intake underneath the windshield cowl can also leak water into the footwells. I had to remove the cowl and place silicone and a rubber flap on top of it to keep the water out.

Are you sure that water is coming from outside? Check the air conditioning / heating air box under the center console. There are 2 drainage pipes for condensation water on the left and right. These tubes end under the car with the dust valves, which look like a bloom buton. Since there is no pole filter in Disco 2, a lot of dirt collects in the air-conditioning box, which then clogs the valves in the drainage pipes. Then the air conditioning box fills with condensation water, which then overflows. To get to it, the front seats and the front carpet have to be removed. Carpet should dry properly. And the rust under the carpet should also be removed. I flushed my air conditioning box and flushed a lot of dirt out. Then I removed the dust valves at the bottom of the tubes. Since then everything has been dry.

Pound to a penny that is it, it pissed me off, till I poured a bucket of water where the bonnet and wing meet and where you said that's where the drain pipes finish is look inside with the kick panel off first set of wires just in from of the door seal.

At the top of the A pillar, seal the corner of the gutter between the metal and the plastic bit. Water runs between and is funneled into the A pillar by the big plastic windscreen trim and ends up in the footwell. Also seal the top corners of the windscreen trim. My bulkhead is pretty rusty so water comes in there. Particularly, between the inner wing and the bulkhead, where the wiring grommets are.

do they not still have sunroof drain tubes like the disco 1? if so there is a rubber tube running down the inside of the A pilar, somewhere under the dash they split, cant remember exactly as its years since i did one, but google sunroof drain tube and you should find it

Do you have the small rubber gaskets on the door check straps still ? check that they are still stuck down, just replaced my drivers side one and re-stuck the passengers oen.

What I found was when you take the kick panel off the covers up the wires, there is a group that goes to the door, the core of wires was hanging down, I pushed them in now what I found was when it rains water was running down the cables and running behind the kick panel, I cable tied it up, so water what so ever now.

I have the same problem. This year I pulled the headliner off. In my case, the leak is from the rear sunroof. Flowing all the way to the front and also down the B pillars where the seat belts are fastened, draining into the carpet.

Any idea on DTC Fault then it drops engine power and lowers air suspension?

I have to blow out my Air Conditioning and the Sunroof drain lines YEARLY! I also splashed through a HUGE puddle, which tried to kill my Body Control Module (BCM) and my Engine Control Module (ECM), which led to all sorts of nasty codes and my BCM (alarm system part) locking me out of my ECM, unable to start D2. .... Took both off and cleaned them with 91% isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip. The water splashed up the hood (aka bonnet) and fell down the fresh air intake, just under the windshield lower trim. 😑 oy!

Check under wheel arch mine was leaking the seam were it joins together I put on mine seam sealer

ALL land rovers leak. how the hell does the english make vehicles like this even though it rains all the time there

Could be the roof seal or windshield. Up where the roof meets the a pillar the seam leaks on mine.
