I searched for purchasing replacement dial knobs for my discovery for ages and could not find anything other than buying the whole climate control interface which costs AUD$500+ new.
This video shows you how to save time and money by quickly cleaning the sticky gunk from land rover Discovery 4 2011 climate control air conditioning dial knobs to make them like new!

You can actually buy just the dial covers now on Amazon for about 15 USD. But why spend even that when hot water is essentially free? 😂 great video! You're a life saver!

You're the Man!! They came off even easier than I'd imagined. I used alcohol and baking soda mixed with a toothbrush. Thought about spraying on clear poly but then they had come out so well I just popped hem back on. Fan-tastic!!! Thank you so very much.

They have replacement chromed knobs too. Look really nice in place of these rubber knobs.

Careful, I did that once with rubber floor mats and destroyed them and almost the washer 😞

They’ve remained clean for the last few years, I’m not sure if there was an original coating which gets gunky, or if it just takes several years for them to be so
