One thing to keep in mind.. Tires that size won't fit in the wheel wells. If your suspension ever fails or just wigs out and decides to drop to the bump stops (and this will happen eventually), you're going to be stuck. Don't ask me how I know! You might want to look into bump stop spacers and limiting straps. Just some friendly advice..

Your driveway is sick ! Dont ever leave your parents house :). Keep us updated on which bump stop you installed. Test the access height while rolling etc.

No need to pull the wheels off. Took me 5 minutes to install mine. That includes opening the package

Looks good. Just picked up an LR3 myself last week, and Johnson rods came in yesterday. I only went the 1.5in lift and will putting 265/65-18 on it. Please keep us up to date on other upgrades.

@Darrin: Do you have any videos/photos showing your 1.5” lift w/ 265/65r18 setup? Any tire rub or other issues you’ve noticed? How’s cornering, articulation, and road manners since the upgrade?

@@illbenooneelse no tire rub what so ever. I think it's it's perfect for daily use and occasional off road. I do have photos but not sure how I would get them to you

No noticeable rubbing yet. Drives great on the road and on sand/dirt. Barely any tire noise on the highway either. I've had duratrac tires in the past and they were louder. I'd say go for it! Very nice to drive.

265/65/18s will fit a stock lr3 with very minimal rubbing at full lock in reverse with worn bushings. Ie:they fit. 265/70 on the other hand.. not going to go well without modifications. 😉

Nice set up did you know you can raise your land rover an additional 4 inches higher than off road mode you tuber ( oxmanagain channel show you how to extend you rover even higher called super extended mode )

Pretty cool! Would you upgrade to 35" tires? I'm looking to move grin the LR3 to an LR4, do you know how to spot the HD package? Also can't lock the door with the key inside! Hopefully we see adventure and mods on your channel 🙂

35" tires would probably rub too much. I just swapped to a 2" lift coil conversion and I rub my current tires a little bit when turning

Do these work with 18 inch wheels / I have the AR201 wheels as well? Does this work with the standard air suspension system? I just ordered a set 😁

These are 18s. You won't be able to run as big of a tire with stock height but the wheels themselves would work with factory tire spec

I would imagine so but you can always double check wheel fitment at willtheyfit.com to make sure

Its in the video but they're american racing 201 in 18x9 plus 35. Tires are falken wild peak at3 in 275/65-18

No rubbing during normal driving. I have the Johnson rod 2.5" lift.

Averaging 15.2 to 15.3 with mixed highway and city driving. I think I was only getting 16.something before that. These cars are basically bricks.
