Hi David, it wasn’t dry, I just didn’t have the camera on when I put oil on it. There are quite a few basic things I didn’t show because my main goal was to show some of the unique things about this installation. I highly recommend anyone else doing this type of work should have some basic mechanic skills.

@@emicroengine1 How is the paint holding up on the exhaust header? My experience has been that the paint flakes and then rust quickly forms. Seems the solution these days is to have the header sand blasted and then coated with a ceramic material.

Hi David, so far so good. I have never been impressed with the painted high temp coatings But this application seem to be holding up pretty well. I’m not sure what is on this header, could be a ceramic type of black paint. I will ask Roland at ACR.
