around the 7:20 mark thats a water filter. some places instead of paying for a water utility will have access to a well (this is just a sources of water underground) and will get it from there the pump that retrieves the water usually will have a filter to make sure the water is safe to drink and bathe with. However most people will stick a tap filter on the sink as the extra filtering will make the water taste better. it can also be found in a lot of cities as usually the water benefits from extra filtration.

7:10 that's a water filter. I am american, it's not super common here, but common enough to surprise me that you guys did not know what it was. To clarify, I think our water tastes fine and is definitely safe to drink, but purifiers can enhance the taste of water. Most of our fridges have them built in, the one in that kitchen DEFINITELY would have one built in, so it's kind of odd to see it in that sink.

7:09 I guess it is an American thing maybe. Im from New York and that’s a water filter attached to the tap, uncommon in the city due to high quality clean water, but I definitely have seen it in rural houses where the water quality is more questionable :)

Pretty sure that contraption on the tap was a water filter. They're not terribly common in America, since most of our water has much deeper issues than a filter can fix, but it's better than nothing.

the last bit is a bit like using google maps street view to find the chinese takeaway number, so as not to line just eats pockets with 10% and the takeaways upcharges.

They have all got the same elements you would expect of a walking sim. Some more straight forward and other with more mechanics. Moreover, they are all brilliant.

Just look up Flint, Michigan, and then another city in Ohio not too long ago had the same issue... basically city officials know of bad water quality but don't fix it. Smart move to use a filter. Plus "they" say that the fluoride added to the water shrinks/changes your pituitary gland ("some" say it makes you dumber and easier to manipulate). The filter removes lead and unwanted thingies, makes the water taste better too.

The kid Tom talked about looks like the small bad guy from the James Bond movies.
