Wow, freaking awesome, you guys!!! I've been following the release of the LC300 since its launch day in Dubai until today and this is the first time I've seen it hit the dirt roads. All other videos currently on KZfaq are on builds but am yet to see any of them hitting the road. I smiled and laughed watching this video, so stoked, I watched again especially the GR hitting the dirt roads with that caravan...so gangsta. Keep em coming! I'm subscribing. nice ...wish we could get a LC 300 in the US ,a basic base model v6 gas would be ok, every thing here has a independent rear axle "FOR A SMOOTH RIDE AND LEG ROOM FOR THE 3 row" leather luxury wagons THE 4RUNNER and Lexus gx460 still have a solid rear axel

Have you had any issues with the limited approach, departure and ramp over angles? Are the front and rear bits that will hit first, steel or plastic?

Fantastic adventure vide. o Nick and Heidi! Love the performance of the 300 and the Mountain Trail RV.. I noticed you are carrying an All 4 Adventure box in the rear of the Cruiser. Is this a battery and accessories kit? Could you shed a bit more light on the kit or you particular setup.

You have more money than sense you are willing to bin a 300 series and drive the tele with no winch and no snorkel. absolute madness! its nice to have maxtracks on the roof but you have no way to self recover other than relying on the kindness of strangers!! this is insane that you would do this!

I love the new lc , but im pretty sure there should be harder roads there in Aus to try out , i drove through road conditions just like that with a Mahindra Scorpio mhawk pickup , which is only capable enough for that road conditions... I think the lc is much more capable for worse trails than this

to be fair, and i know it gets called up as the toughest, due to just being iconic, bit like the land cruiser, but the tele track is not the toughest. In fact it just like any other good off road track 🤔🤫🤫

Very much doubt it. It wouldn't get through without some mods IMO and I'd at least have a snorkel, lift, 33's and a winch to attempt it.

I personally would not call the old tele the "toughest track in Australia". Remove the water crossings, most of which are a cakewalk especially later into the dry season, the track is really not that challenging at all. Ballsy move doing it without a snorkle but.

The track depends on how bad the wet season was some years have been really bad especially if no work on the road has been carried out.

Yes you will get it there. We took the van into Elliot Falls which is on the Old Tele track and that was testing, but we got it there.

Cant make up my mind if it was ballsy or just stupid tackling the water crossings with no snorkel....Guess they have never had water fill cylinders and cause hydraulic lockup....and bent rods, or rods thru blocks etc, etc etc.....

Wheels weren’t changed just the tyres, dual battery system for a car fridge, rear poly air bags, anderson socket and Redarc brake controller.

We are presenting the vehicle in its stock form. We would certainly add a snorkel but no one has one to fit a 300 at this stage. It performed well as a standard vehicle.

Question please: I'm awaiting arrival of my GR 3-4 weeks away. DMW did a clip on You tube where over dirt roads the passenger seat, without occupant, and the rear seats, without occupants, were vibrating a lot and causing an audible rattle. Did you guys experience that issue?

We hit lots of corrugated roads and there were rattles coming from our equipment in the back so we didn’t notice any audible noise from the seats.

$150k but guess what.? When you sell it you get all your money back. These things have the best resale value of any vehicle in Australia. So the spend isn't an issue if you know you'll get your money back. Unlike a Mercedes that drops 25% the day you drive out the showroom

@@emergingit *had* the best resale value. Thanks to KZfaq everyone is now aware that you don't need a 150k landcruiser to do 99% of the tracks in Australia let alone any of them. Only people buying them are those who need them for towing or have too much money to spend haha. There's literally a couple on youtube with a baby who did the teletrack in a kombi van with no lockers.. So pick anywhere between them and this cruiser as to how much you really need to get off road..
