That engine bay looks huge without the 1vd ft V8 in it. We get the V8 single turbo in Australia. Same engine as the 200 series but only single turbo. Also interested to see no free wheeling hubs.

In my opinion 80 series, AKA the mighty 80, is the best Land Cruiser ever made, 100 series got close but not close enough, and in today's standard 70 series rules. Pajero Turbo Wagon was the vehicle of choice for me back in the day then we bought the 70 and the 70 series set the bar and came the 80 series with its mighty 1HD engine and it was all over for me, I am yet to see a vehicle set the bar above it. Here in US people wont buy if the vehicle DOES NOT have park assist, lane assist, automatic transmission to automatic EVERYTHING simple put the vehicle has to drive itself.... with out these attributes it will not sell here. If it does not sell enough they wont make a lot of money from that model so there is no incentive to stock it. Most toyota models are made in USA, 70 would be made in Japan which would mean no profit in production, with low margins building a factory and train technicians would be out of the question. Despite all these hurdles if they bring the 70 series it would eat into the Jeep market and Toyotas own market Tacoma and Tundra which are way more profitable. BUT if you ask Toyota they will not tell you anything I mentioned above.... what they will tell you is that the 70 series will not meet US safety and emission standards..... Although the same engine 1GR-FE came to USA on Tacomas and FJ cruisers and still alive and well with 4 runners, but if it was fitted to a 70 series miraculously it will fail emissions.... Basically if it does not fill dealers pockets of $$$$$ its a no go! So no future for the 70 series here in the US. I heard they might stop production globally soon.... apparently poor sales I don't know how true this is... damn shame!

Вот это ВЕЩЬ, учитесь как надо делать УАЗик хотя вряд ли там всё через ж.... у, думаю ничего там не поменяется. А вот купить на уровне государства тойота Ленд Крузер Прадо это можно, как мы купили жигули у Фиата вот это было-бы правильно. Тем более что он снят с производства в Японии. Думаю что и этого не сделают , потому что для народа у нас уже ничего не делают давно...... А жаль.

Hi, nice rig you have there. Superb car. Is that a 1hz with aftermarket turbo and intercooler? If yes can you send me the details on where did you bought? What about the egt temperature's? Thanks

Seems that the Turbo & Intercooler Kit is an aftermarket adaptation, because the 1HD engine its just Turbo and doesn't have Intercooler, seems like a HKS one, also haves a digital turbo timer... Nice job! In which country are you paseojen8?
