Great tips Cheers Currently at westgate bridge and tude is going down have a pladtic lure on but to many snags no bites Will definately try gem pier

Hey Lincoln, what are you thoughts on using snap swivels for easy change over of soft plastics, looks like you don't use them? Any reason why?

I like a direct connection so I can feel the slightest bump. I also use a direct uni knot to the jig head (unless it's effecting the lure action). A swivel/clip takes a little of that feeling away in my opinion. I also don't frequently change lures so a quick knot every now and then is ok by me. Swivels/clips can make changing over easier etc, so it does come down to personal preference 👌.

Hey mate. I like to use 6lb to 10lb braid line, I currently don't sell line. But the best you can afford, I like to use 8 carrier braid.

No fish, no Salmon but the odd Bugger made it onshore. An excellent review of fish species, techniques, how & when & what to use. I learned quite a bit from this video. I fish a Jetty & have been missing opportunities left right & centre. But not anymore.Excellent drone footage. Yesterday. Lake Macquarie. Under a bridge. Cold. Pouring rain. Incoming tide & a huge fresh flowing down into the lake. I caught one small Bream on bait. No bumps on the lure. Optimists were in very small numbers. Only one actually. Me. Looking forward to your next video

orlando joseph , that would be a very big No. because I am a Captain of a ferry boat that comes to Gem Pier and you would be in danger of getting hit by all the other ferry boats.
