Carrier pilots were the best trained. Their skill in landing on a moving deck was something which was hard to master. In his book Samurai Saburo Sakai says when he first saw a landing on a carrier, the skill the pilots exhibited, left him quaking. But although he only flew his combat missions from land bases, he mastered carrier landings.

Me in WT be like= I'm a good pilot i can land on carrier! *5 minutes later* *landing gear lost, half of wing cutted off, and landed upside down and on the tip of the landing deck* Hell yeah a good landing!

@@foxythefox356 say that to the harrier pilot who had to land on a cargo ship in the middle of the atlantic ocean because his instruments went completely haywire and couldnt find his way back to his home carrier. poor sod got in so much freaking trouble over that, if i was the captain of that ship i'd freaking applaud him for surviving the ordeal, even if the navy had to pay for damaging the shipping containers its all really water under the bridge.

I absolutely adore this game it puts games like world of warships to shame with the replay ability and content available. Imagine BSP or BSM remaster or remake or a new game like Battle Stations Atlantic.

Because apparently nobody knows what this game is, I’ll explain it Battlestations Pacific is the successor to Battlestations Midway. A real time naval strategy of air and sea combat. It’s a pretty old game requiring windows live to play (which can be downloaded but not used, just to trick the launcher into thinking you have it). When run, there are 2 campaigns, US and Japanese both featuring unlockable units and unique campaign missions. Don’t expect to get the jets though because multiplayer is required and that died years ago. This game also features mod support which means there are mods developed. The ones I’d recommend are the remastered version (WOWs and WT models, new units, many more missions) and long odds (difficult yet fun along with a handful of new units) and all the others are great too

Sadly bsp is kinda dead i do find some matches on multiplayer but no much on xbox btw most ship models arnt accurate to real ships such as uss san Francisco on 2 us mission being new Orleans crusier and bunker hill in battle of philipeans being a Essex class carrier
