Today a very nice approach towards Ibiza Airport runway 06. (Catalan: Aeroport d'Eivissa, Spanish: Aeropuerto de Ibiza) It is the international airport serving the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Formentera in Spain. The airport is located 7 km (4.3 mi) southwest of Ibiza Town.
It was a beautiful approach with a stunning view!

Checcckkk hij is weer gaaf... Dat blauw van de zee is inderdaad mooi, helemaal met die korte witte band tussen zee en lucht op de horizon met daarna prachtige blauwe lucht weer. Thanks Mike voor het meegenieten.

Het is door de films die ik maak dat ik daar achter ben gekomen. Op dit moment ben ik inderdaad druk bezig met een verbouwing en verhuizing. Hi Captain, I am a follower of your videos, especially the approaches and landings. They are very well recorded and edited. Great enthusiasm is seen in its realization. My little contact with cockpits is only virtual, through FlightSimulator, almost always "piloting" B737, although I have ever done it with A320 and B757-200F, the latter excites me, although the add-on I have does not seem to me too realistic. I stay with the family of 737. That is why this channel is so important to me. For that, thank you very much and Happy flights!

Fantastic video! I just have one question that you may be able to answer... Some of the more recent STARs for RWY 24 for Ibiza seem very unique, it's like an 'S' shape taken at slowly decreasing altitudes and speeds, and the S shape ends at the IAF. Why would Ibiza need this? Would I be correct to assume if there was no conflicting traffic you could proceed straight to the initial approach fix and not fly the snake shape curve? Keep up the fantastic work! I love this channel :)

The "S" shaped approaches are designed when a lot of traffic is expect at once. When there is no traffic... they normally give you a direct towards the IAF that's correct. Thanks!

Hola Vuelo con Flight Simulator y comprendo la maestria de los pilotos de los B-737 Quisiera hacer una pregunta: tengo entendido que el piloto automatico conduce el avion en las travesias, pero ¿Es el piloto automatico el que busca, como es en este caso el rumbo 62º? ¿A que distancia o a que altura está obligado el comandante del avion a tomar los mandos para la toma de tierra? Dan heb je het inderdaad druk. En weinig tijd om te vliegen of achter je computer te zitten om je video's te maken. Ik blijf je kanaal in de gaten houden. Succes met de verbouwing.

Ja hoor, wij hebben ook vakantie. Helaas niet altijd in het hoogseizoen als ook de kids vakantie hebben. Zij gaan dan vaak op vakantie naar een land waar ik makkelijk in m'n vrije tijd heen kan vliegen. Op die manier ben ik er dan toch een paar dagen bij! Bedankt voor de vraag.
