The first podium ceremony post covid was so bizarre. All separated, standing on the grid and a little robot thingie delivered the trophy 😂

It's his penchant for telling the team to make his teammate let him pass by because he believes he's faster. Some times he is, some times he isn't, but he asks nonetheless and people have blown this out of proportion as if he's the only one who acts like this under pressure.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but i feel like McLaren to Lando is almost like what Ferrari is to Charles 🥺I really hope he's here to stay... He's so passionate for the papaya, and with the strong driver line-up they have now, I'm really hoping the team will continue this incredible upwards trajectory and get back to their winning ways ♥

⁠@@cardellkenithIt’s absolutely no secret that him and Daniel had a rough patch as teams mates. Lando said the famous words of “I don’t have sympathy for Daniel” 😬. Also him and Carlos had a competitiveness that sometimes showed friction. He often says that Carlos liked to brag if he ever did better and it clearly pissed Lando off. It’s well known that F1 teammates always get along better when they go to separate teams. Lando is always friendly with most of the grid but he has definitely had moments with teammates, as have all of them. The original comment stated Lando and Oscar are friends for now. Who’s to say Oscar won’t start being better than Lando (as shown in a few races already) and the pressure and embarrassment might cause some friction. It is so difficult to have a friendship with someone you’re literally competing against everyday day that won’t have ups and downs. Life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows!

It’s baffling how Lando never gets the recognition he deserves, few drivers push so hard yet can also be such a stable point earner. Always bet on Lando. Hopefully we’ll see him for the next 100, maybe 200 more races… and hopefully in Papaya.

I really felt that... Since I rekindled my passion for F1 in 2019 after a 5-year absence, I immediately became a fan of Lando. He is such a kind, funny, and passionate guy (and also a great racing driver!). Every race I cheered for you, I was ecstatic when you reached your first podium in Austria and your first pole in Russia. At the same time, I suffered with you when you lost your first win in the last rounds of the latter race. Despite the ups and downs, I'm always glad that you're in F1, gifting me and others with passion, joy, and excitement! Thank you, Lando!

Been waiting for a driver like Lando to drive for McLaren since Mika retired. One who believes in the team and gets the fans to believe in them as well. This is a great time to be a Macaa fan, especially for those of us who have waited for a long time to see the glory days back.

I remember watching F1 in 2017 and I didn't realise it till this video but F1 has become like my "look forward too" thing in my life I love the stories, I love the places they visit and the things I've learnt about different places around the world... I love F1 a lot and I've seen every moment lando has had in F1 and personally between he and George I feel we have a future champ and I can't wait to see your first win lando and your first championship.
