Mad that Toto would come out with something like that. You're 100% right - Max has shown time and again he doesn't care about the show and the spectacle and the PR side of things; he wants to race, drive fast and win. That's what F1 is supposed to be about. Hamilton is the one who likes to be in front of the camera pushing his brand and the PR points. If Toto wanted to offer the ambassador role to anyone it should have been Hamilton (as Lewis wanted). Maybe then Lewis would be staying at Mercedes instead of going to Ferrari.

Mercedes is worried about drivers when they should be worried about a car AND how they treat quality drivers. Had they treated a multi championship driver well, even with a bad car, they would still have the best driver on the grid.

Not only did they screw up my deleting Norris' SQ3 lap time, they also had him listed as the race winner for a REALLY long time at the end of the GP. I like the idea of extending the points, especially since they're not changing positions 1st through 7th at all. Since reliability is so high, there is less shake-up between the top 4 or 5 teams within the top 10 positions, so I think it would be interesting to have a bit more points distributed to the midfield teams.

I think at the sprint race Toto wasn’t happy with the 2nd place LH got because the light came on in Toto’s head that said Lewis was saying yeh I can drive this B but I’m not going to. But your second seat driver is your new star let him do it. They are in a scramble to find a driver to out drive gorgeous George…..😂

the thing with max is its not the competition of the other car first, its wether he respects the other guy enough to have a battle with them in equal machines, I think he likes lando enough to tolerate it, its not that he is worried about anybody else beating him, we know he 100% believes they can't, but with someone like Charles or lando it wouldn't send him over the edge, they are his generation and I think he measures them differently than a Lewis or fernando

I think Zhou got some dispensation at the end of the race for obvious reasons, F1 in China has a massive potential way beyond the U.S. market and it is already building steam especially with a homeboy, sell out crowd and possibility of a second race in the country. Combined with this being the first race in 4 years too, I don’t see any problems with Zhou taking a boy. He sacrificed a lot to get to this point innit

Like I said before, its a smart move for any driver to not go to Red Bull at the moment. First of all you need to fight the most consistent, ruthless world champion ever and this has a high risk for your career going down the drain. If you are a potential future World Champion you can really hurt your image driving in the same car as Max so I get that drivers with other options prefer those over Redbull. Second of all Redbull is at or even over their current peak, with the internal power struggles going on it is inevitable that things will change at Redbull. Horners position seems very strong so Marko will eventually go meaning Max will go too. This wil mean Redbull will have to do a rebuild of their team and will have to take a step back, not to the back of the grid but I think its very hard to maintain the lead when there isn't unity in your organization and their success has been the results of the team as a whole, not just Horners success or Newey's or Max's succcess. And what are the chances that RB powertrains hits the nail on the head with their first self produced engine? I think a lot of drivers look at that too. Sure Ford is involved but its not the same as big manufacturers with proven track records and experience. So I predict Max to leave Redbull in 2026 and go to either Aston Martin, following in the footsteps of Honda who love Max (probably more than Yuki, cause champions sell more than local hero's) or go to Mclaren and join Lando. Now I do get that Sainz considers Redbull at the moment, cause he lost his seat at Ferrari so he needs a new direction in order to not miss out on a seat and a secure future, Lando did not have that problem. And I am not going to talk about Toto anymore, I've been very clear about how I think he is the biggest fraud in F1 and I see you are slowly moving in that direction as well, so I dont even need to say anything, Toto is messing up all by himself....

Sadly ever since Lando signed that new contract I see PIA going backwards. Sad news for Australian fans that Lando got himself a Lead/Diva driver contract. You could see it coming in DTS. I hate these contracts because they are killing the competition between teammates see Red Bull.

The new regulations is going to be an engine regulation and that's what Mercedes is good at and Red Bull is unproven with.

Toto lost my respect in 2022 when they got the car so wrong, they bitched at the FIA so much they forced a change in ground clearance. And…. Redbull were just as good, and everyone else was slower.

I think you've forgotten that Toto took over BRAWN GP. His foundations built by Ross BRAWN and Michael Schumacher, so anything less that success would have been failure. Toto is now for the first time facing adversity and doesn't know which way to turn. Flaws exposed.

I’ve lost a lot of respect for Mercedes over recent years. Toto is the owner, a CEO, a business man, not a race team boss. He inherited that great team from Ross Brawn and co and has done out on that glory for many years. 10 years on, many of those great minds have left and moved to other teams and crucially, their initial advantage is as the engine. They have been on decline for a number of years now….and now they are completely lost and clueless in all key racing aspects. I’m looking forward not jabbing to talk about them from next season onwards.

This talk about Lando is a scratched record that keeps repeating itself. Its boring. Lando has said no. He has turned it down because the RB 20 has just one year left before all is up in the air. Lando has a 2026 break clause in a contract which acording to you would be a three year deal that would take him to 2028. He is smart .. He would go to RB when Max goes but not go to be a number two and with Max in the other seat neither driver would win the wdc as they would share the points. If you look at the 2018 and 19 junior intake Lando has risen to the top while driving at mclaren. After Max he is the driver every team want especially as he has seen off Piastri. He has been told to change teams by pundits year after year but he has remained loyal to Mclaren and their project . Lando has made all the right decisions. for his career and has a healthy bank balance I am sure.

Norris is a great driver but the British media hypes him up. Max would beat him handily 3:1. Leclerc, Russell, Hamilton and Alonso are objectively better drivers based on their head to heads against team mates and their previous success. Regardless if you don't like one or all of those drivers.

Lewis or Fernando would be more than able to go to Red Bull and crush Max in his own team. No doubt about it, which is why they both got rejected by Red Bull. It would be against Max's interest to get dogwalked by older more experienced champions.

I think Carlos is a much better and more rounded driver than Lando
