NOSTALAGIC ..... Mussorie and Landour used to be my almost second home during my school days. Initially like 20 yrs back Dehradun was also peaceful but now it is crowded and badly polluted but still i would say I am sure post retiral i m going back to my roots Btw i am also putting up form Noida. There is an old kumaouni folk song " o jhapnali baanza" by BK Samant on you tube. The folk song is about baanz (oak) tree and its relation with Uttrakhand and how grateful are the people of UKD to baanz trees. Seeing so many trees in the vlog I thought you may like to add it as background music after taking care of copyright rules etc. Just a suggestion. Hope you will like it

Mussoorie holds a spl place in my heart...visited since I was a n adolescent.... Very interesting vlog! On a recent trip with my family ( 2018), I was both pleasantly surprised to see the infra development as well as sad to see some heritage places in such withered condition!! Those houses, zones are actually 'assets' that the town shld preserve ...as a global tourism attraction...mindless building of so called 'modern' hotels won't add anything to the community or the destination. This glade that u guys visited reminded me of a very similar place up in the Darj/Kpg hills in my hometown...best and cheers!
