Hey and thanks! Really appreciate it! :) We are keeping the cars as original as possible and keeping the cars street legal, even the tire size within the legal 5% size limit. :) The old LR's is proven to be such amazing off roaders and we love going out there and having fun. More to come. Been filming a lot this spring and it will hit youtube during the summer months. PS: Just checked out your channel and subbed, love your approach to restoring. Real and honest. 😀👍

@@DarrenCoull Thanks for the nice comment! :) We alle prefer the slow and technical and thinking about the cars well being. As nice as the V8 sound is, I would probably pick that Defender 110. I absolutely fell for them a few months back and even this TD5 can make some mean sounds if you tinker a bit with the exhaust. Also love the Disco 4 but if I were to buy one, I'd go for the latest SDV6 with the 8-speed ZF.
@LandRoverDrive
@LandRoverDrive 5 жыл бұрын
Hey, I would love to get å Defender with a V8, but as you say, the TD5 can play some awesome music too. 😀 When it comes the the SDV6 it sounds amazing, runs so smooth. But for offroading/overlanding I would have gone for the D3 late model and spend the rest on gear and mods. 😀 Thank you for you feedback!

Not that i could ever afford it but i love the Defender 110,but i've seen comments on youtube where a Discovery is better! That Classic Rover V8 though... My dad used to have one in Mauritius,and it was awful,though fairly comfortable,but barely anything worked on it,but indestructible when it got going,which like this one here,not always,lol

They are all great, but all very different. It's hard to find a favorite one because of how different they are. If I could I would own them all but I'm super happy with the Defender. Thank you for you feedback! Glad to hear the edit was good. 😀 Got a comment on music on an earlier offroad video, so when offroading I don't add music.. Most like to hear the engine sounds. And when I add music, on overlanding videos, it's more low key and tuned down and fitting for the mood. 😀 If you have any more feedback just let me know. Hei! Meld deg inn i Norsk Land Rover Klubb!
