TPMS - Tire Pressure Monitoring System
When you press the start button on a Land Rover vehicle, the instrument panel briefly shows the TPMS setting and then disappears.
There are two Land Rover TPMS settings.
Light Road and Heavy Road.
Heavy loads should be done when more than three passengers are in the car or loaded with similar weight.
It is usually set to light load by default.
Setting the heavy load or light load does not automatically change the tire pressure.
The driver must adjust the advised value of the tire pressure according to the set value.
If you change the setting, it is not reflected immediately, but you must start driving for at least 1 minute.
If the instrument panel displays a tire pressure warning light, it should be checked immediately.

Vehicles before 2017 were equipped with a different system from video. If there is no function in the instrument panel menu, it cannot be checked.

Why does my LR show pressures in BAR?? The manufacturers tire guide in the door jam is in PSI along with every other damn vehicle I've ever owned. Any idea if the units can be switched from BAR to PSI in the gauge cluster? Absolutely ridiculous!

For vehicles equipped with the InControl Pro system, this can be changed in the unit settings in the instrument panel menu. For vehicles equipped with the PIVI Pro system, the unit can be changed in the vehicle settings on the infotainment screen.

Hello. I have a 2013 full size Range Rover. For some reason there is no tire pressure check or tire pressure monitor option on my dash. Under service menu it just offers oil level, last alarm, vin, and hba . Has anybody run across this? If so what was done to correct the problem?

There are many differences between systems before 2017 and later. Unfortunately, we don't know much about it on our channel, as we rarely have a chance to encounter the old system. Sorry we couldn't help.
