In the second video from this trip to Glencoe, I brave the extreme weather conditions with the aim of coming away with just one shot.
I had spent a week in the area with sideways rain everyday but was determined not to let this stop me.
Thankfully I was kitted out in my wet weather gear (listed below) so it was still great to be outdoors. It was difficult filming in those conditions, keeping rain off the lens was near impossible, but the payoff was witnessing the falls in full flow.
Come and join me to see how I get on.
I hope you enjoy the video and it inspires you to visit the area.
If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and leave a comment below with your thoughts. Thanks so much for watching.

Love the moody tones! 11:30, portrait version is my fave. All the tones, the comp, and shades of clouds. Really nice!

ha! I thought the water in last weeks video had drama!! Never seen it flow that much down at the S-bends. I think you did well to capture anything at all in those conditions. Well done 👍

Some great photos Stephen, I have just got back from Glencoe and the amount of water there was immense. Only four days earlier at the ‘S’ bends you could see all the gorgeous rocks. What a place.

There on Monday and not quite that amount of water . Found it quite dark even at midday. As you say it's getting popular and I expect it will end up trashed and a mud bath. 10 years ago it was unknown location 😢😢😢

Great video Steve 👍 Not sure I’d have crossed that river 😬 That weather was bonkers. It’s nice to have a Bit of atmosphere, but as you said the conditions weren’t perfect sadly 👍

The shot at 09.03 wins it for me which may surprise you. I think the shot of the mountains, without the chaso of the water in it, is powerful in itself. The majestic nature of those hills.

High drama stuff mate! That coat looks entirely suitable for the conditions though - makes the difference to be well dressed for such extremes. I remain jelly of your adventures. Surprised you haven't yet found me in the boot of your car (the "trunk", for your American visitors!)
