You look really shattered at the end of the video Adam, but no surprise there at all , that was a long day , a good walk up to the top " Fairy Pool " is a good workout in itself , but that climb back up to the car-park can be just as bad L.O.L. , but a cracking set of images from there ,, Ah , Elgol , well 1stly I hope that you enjoyed the drive over , its just beautiful , the scenery everywhere you look it just stunning and then you come to that moment when you come over the brow of the hill for the loch just to open up before your very eyes , just mesmerising , I loved your Images of the " Round Rock " affectionately known as the " Joe Cornish " boulder , but the Image for me was the one with the pink thrift in the foreground , that was just absolutely gorgeous , it has been well worth waiting a week to see this footage Adam , totally inspirational , thank you , Phil

Another brilliant video Adam, you have a very calming way about your videos, always so relaxed. All beautiful images, the fairy pools are quite similar to all the wee hidden waterfalls here in Donegal, Ireland. More in bog lands and forest ones too. You and Gavin have inspired me to follow rivers up hills and I have found quite a few. So much fun to photograph. I liked the close up, simpler shot at the end, but then I like them all lol thanks for another brilliant video. 😊

Sgurr an Fheadain is the pointy hill behind the fairy pools. Sgurr Na Stri is the similar shaped hill looking from Elgol. And if you can be arsed walking the 4 miles each way and across a wide river to get to it, the 1,500ft climb up to the top affords some of the best views in all of Scotland. Thanks again for doing all the dreary editing the make this fine videos.

It's nuts. Three years ago, the pools were largely empty with a couple dozen people spread out across the area, max. Was there about when you guys were, and between the new parking lot, the various other path additions, and the hundred+ folks spread out across the valley...have to admit, I never got out of the car, turned around, and went and found some other streams elsewhere on the island. The pools themselves are so intimate, and Scotland itself is so wild - it's a challenge to experience it properly with heavy crowds. Especially with water levels so low because of the summer drought.

Smashing video again Adam. Glad the light appeared. Round rock shot: I prefer the wider angle close up of the round rock. More focused, simple. The rock and sky aren't competing for attention. Brilliant! Nice to see the good light find you on Elgol beach. All of the beach shots were spectacular. I am most strongly drawn to the wide angle shot, I found the contrast offered by the bright patch of clouds and blue sky against the very moody dark clouds set some emotional tension that was lost in the tight crop. That being said, I learned a valuable lesson about cropping with courage and I'm sure some of my images will be improved as a consequence. Outstanding example(s) of just how important shooting with post processing in mind is to an image. Thanks for sharing!

The Round Rock.... I was already thinking there was another composition I liked even before you asked the question.. I like the round rock with the craggy backgrounds... and there is a pano crop that eliminates almost all the sky, keeping just the green background cliff on the right at 13:52 and again at about 14:21 the transition slides into what I like best, (although keeping a just a little bit of the cropped bottom line at these points) except in my preferred crop I would want to lighten just a little bit the distant mountains to give just a hint of texture... on my screen they look really black and almost blend into the sky... close to what you have at 15:23... but in the earlier scenes I prefer the relative size of the boulder... thank you for asking P.S. the closing shot of the seaside cottage looks like it would be a great B&B...

Skye is a very beautiful and magical place to visit, my wife and I had a wonderful time there early May. Your images and choices in accompanying music are inspirational. If I'm pushed to choose, my preference is for the wider field of view over the close up, but only because I love the drama and contrast in the sky. The final two images are great too. Nice work!

15:40 At first, I thought I'd have to give it a bit of thought, but after second look I pretty quickly preferred the wider, more open perspective because the "orb" still has a commanding presence in all of it I feel. In the closer up I feel the additional lighting and prioritization of the orb is a bit harsh and does a misjustice to it's truly gorgeous surrounding. Beautiful vid. Thanks again.
