Thank you for teaching this technique with the blended stencil; I used this idea to create a background for a big transfer on a headboard and it turned out SO great! Credit goes to you for the idea!

You are very welcome, yes so it's actually a few different woods that become super toxic when you get the dust, I mean NO DUST is good for you but some are way worse, cedar is one of them.

Wowzer. I have a lane cedar chest that I found on the side of the road. It is from 1954. I opened it up and it smells amazing. But the veneer on top is destroyed. I always learn so much from you.Your amazing. Thank you.

I love the colors over the dark base. And the neutral legs and top really pull it back. I feel like I wouldn’t even be afraid of bright colors with this combo. Although, I’d probably go more jewel tones, you know, baby steps and all that.

Somehow a velvet cover of the top in one of the colours you used would look stunning too, Crys"Dawna. I like it this way, much better than all the fake paneling.
