I hadn’t seen much of FT this year I didn’t know they changed their snare heads

I think Langston came ready. Some of them are from Houston too. Also, it looked as if FT was down some drums and cymbals. The stands for Ocean looked smaller than football season too. That said, this was not a blow out either way, but the edge goes to FT. The sound - even with fewer snares - still sounded better overall. Langston did edge on stick routine creativity.

Langston won SWAC division school always run into Black Excellence (other HBCUs). SWAC operates in a bubble with taking so many Ls at national competition you would think those universities will wake up.😁😆 and look OUTSIDE SWAC to see what other HBCUs are doing

Langston Snare Visuals Was Nice But The Overall Cadences were not. Also the Snare Line Rudiments just did not sound clean.

Ima go with the funk in this one. Not bias at all cause the Langston drum instructor Cliff is like family to me but I like funk better. Den was cool just all the other drums sounded like to much that’s just my respectful opinion

Technique both came with it ...Style and cadences go to Txsu FT....Langston is not lackin at all but the cadences in totality were ok

I feel Funk Train did a Damn good job for the Snare Section Leader to be playing with all Crabs/Freshmen. Funk Train material was just better to me. But Good job Langston. Funk Train with the W for me.

Texas Southern Drumline sounds a lot better. While neither Drumlines Texas Southern nor Langston Cadence were not good. The Texas Southern Snare Line were better and their visuals were better.
