Lani is truly a great singer. I found out from her that she used to live in Dian (Singalong) back in the late 50's while we lived in Vito Cruz, not far from her. After working in NY, I retired in Henderson, LV and in one of my vacations to the Philippines, together with my brother we watched her show in Makati and talked to her after the show. At that time she told us she lived in Summerlin which is next town to Henderson. That show was memorable for me because soon after that my brother passed away from a brain tumor and we both had a photo taken with Lani Misalucha which I now treasure. I watched Rama at Sita, which was an amazing production indeed! That was the first time I heard of the name Lani Misalucha, definitely the best Filipino World class singer of all time. Although I find this interview quite difficult for Korina coz Lani can't seem to give a clear answer and Korina can't seem to follow up, I realized that it must be the effects of the deadly disease Lani caught. I guess what's important and what I can be happy about watching this interview is hearing Lani's lovely singing voice again. I wish her well!
