That is my favorite part as well. Can never use generics because of fear of missing out on these goodies. There so many of them too with some being very hard to trigger. A real shame nobody else records these. Glad you enjoyed it aswell.

Eh His tone is weird. It could use a deeper, more mature voice. Someone could do a decent job and still be a mediocre fit for the character.

@@sws212 To each their own. When a character's dialogue is only in text for like 20 years, everyone's gonna have their own idea of how their voice sounds. I thought it fit perfectly

I get what you mean, though for me I quite enjoy the VA's take, he's clearly been rattled ever since the incident in Ovis, capable but fallible, nervous and insecure but I think it speaks to his determination that, such as it is, it's able to break through that nervousness and insecurity. He sounds like someone who is aware of his limits and doesn't want to be caught unprepared like he was when he earned his sword all those years ago. As I tend to read his insecure and nervous tone in Reborn as him still traumatized by what happened and a seemingly outright refusal to ever be as powerless as that again. And perhaps even a little bit of Impostor Syndrome due to being named High Champion. It makes him a very compelling character because we see how much the world has changed him and is the perfect example of how the people in the wider Ogre Battle world are pushed and pulled to different ends as they try and navigate such a chaotic universe with powers unfathomable just lurking in the background both above and below. If he was a smidge more stoic though I wouldn't mind, as I can see how the current portrayal might be too much away from stoic but I think if anyone should be nervous it should be him given what he went through to become High Champion, both in Ovis and in the intervening years since then. He is the perfect character to act as a mirror not just for Denam but for all the protagonists in this series and would LOVE if he ever got the chance to interact with Destin and Magnus should the story ever continue. Probably my favorite villain and that was true prior to Reborn voicing his lines in English and it's true after the fact, personally speaking of course.
