There is something sobering in seeing Mr Keitel an old man. I first saw him in Reservoir Dogs and he was already past the age of 50 then. I am happy he is still working.

@@JMBluecoat8289 What the hell is wrong with people who assume things that were not said just because they think they can? Did the sentence mean that I have never seen those movies you mentioned? No, it did not. It meant that Reservoir Dogs was the first movie that I saw with him in it. A couple of decades passed since that happened and you have no information which movies I did or did not watch during that time.

@@xtraspecialmango a great performance but that was the year even Robert de Niro didn't win the Oscar for his performance in cape fear. Someone called Anthony Hopkins won for his role as Hannibal the cannibal in silence of the lambs. I saw bad bad lieutenant once. It's ok. Not many have seen it. Silence of the lambs is iconic, mainly because of Hopkins. No Oscar for Keitel that year I'm afraid. Brilliant actor but never had many iconic roles.

What’s crazy is that their were few real modern mobsters back in 70s and late 80s who use to meet Myer lansky mobsters like Nicky scarfo. Phil leonetti said in his book mob prince . That they use to meet with Meyer in Atlantic City . In the early 70s . He said Meyer liked to see his uncle nick a lot because I think it was because he was respectful towards Meyer and Meyer liked him . Leonetti said lansky use to talk about his old friend Ben Siegel or bugsy Siegel . A lot And he also how he mentioned that he was a stone cold killer just liked Nicky scarfo

I helped do lighting for this movie in mobile Alabama it was an awesome experience seeing the old cars and the way they changed up places to look old school was cool as hell

@@joeymartinez9854 Yes, just finished it. It's really poorly directed. Utterly uncompelling, in my view. Rife with pointless offshoot of fiction, tons of screentime wasted on clunky subplot...just bad all around, sadly. I will definitely never re-watch this one.

Keitel was born in New York City, on May 13, 1939, the son of Ashkenazi Jewish immigrants; his mother, Miriam (née Klein), was from Romania, and his father, Harry Keitel, was from Poland.

Like the Irish man, a 'true gangster' actor making a come back, Keitel is as good as Pacino, DeNiro, Pesci, I will see this, from bad lieutenant to Lansky, what a career for the man. I hope Worthington is good this time.
