I'm not from Ilocos Norte but I've started to consider about moving there (long-term). Comimg from Metro Manila, the provinces have a strong draw but I know I would still want some semblance and conveniences that a city could offer. So far Laoag seems to fit the bill.

Sana ay bigyan pansin ng pamahalaan at ipagutos sa bawat Lungsod/City sa buong Pilipinas na kailangan ng mga tao ang may ligtas at maayos na bangketa/sidewalk na malalakaran lalo na sa mga matataong pamilihan lugar mga eskwelahan at hospital at iba pa…💥✌

@@hunk2176 poverty incidence in Ilocos Norte one of the lowest in the Philippines you need to balance the local economy. Japanese Chinese Korean tourist they like so much ilocos norte simply because they balance the view itself.the river not polluted no squatter good infrastructure projects.and the tourist industry in ilocos is booming that's the fact😊

May I suggest Mr President? Intead of 2040 how about 2025? Build build build projects take a lot longer. You can do the 'feeding' of your flocks by next two years or sooner. To dress up the country to make it look like a very prosperous country is only secondary to FEEDING FIRST THE HUNGRY POOR FILIPINO PEOPLE. This feeding of the citizens should be a priority Mr PBBM. If you give each one at least 1.32 BILLION PESO EACH then you can expect the people to be happier! Did you know? Isaiah 61:5 & 9. OFWs will be coming home and be the bosses themselves. Foreigners will be our domestic helpers and foreign farm workers will be at our doorsteps feeding our flocks. This will be the GREAT REVERSAL in the Bible. Matthew 19:30 that despite being laggard in the economy in ASEAN, we will be the FIRST. THIS NATION SHALL BE GREAT AGAIN! We cannot afford to pay the salaries of our foreign domestic helper and laborers if we dont have at least 1.32 BILLION PESO EACH. And we will be recognized by nations globally and be blessed by ALMIGHTY FATHER AS THE CHOSEN LAND OF OPHIR- LAND OF GOLD.

Davao city has 15 percent poverty incidence rating while ilocos norte has only 2.5 percent and it is one of the highest human development index which means they have better standard of living. Davao city has a lot of squatters . I could barely see squatters in ilocos norte.
