Kilkenny's Tommy Walsh is the subject of this programme. Tommy was the heartbeat of one of the most successful hurling teams of all time. He won 9 All Ireland medals, 7 national leagues and a hurler of the year award. He is also the only player ever to have won 9 All stars in a row. The tenacious Tullaroan man speaks about what motivates him, Kilkenny's success and passing on the number five shirt to his brother. An all time great, and seems like a genuinely likeable aul skin. He's respected and liked here in Galway, even though he helped break our hearts manys a time. I was delighted to see him win the AI with Tullaroan this year.

One of the greatest defenders of all time..was way above his Cork Equals ....We saw some of the greatest hurlers ever Between 2000 and 2015 with Kilkenny. .Cork Supporter 👑👍.

As a player I hated him but admired his skills as a Tipp man, but that later just turned to admiration of him. Now I never thought of all those kk players that it would be him I would listen to but he is a top commentator and very good at it.

I don't consider kilkenny the greatest team ever, when ref gives you frees all the time, and when they are not marked, if a person marked them they wouldn't get nothing

Kilkenny always always had referees bought the ref always was in favour of them, alot of kilkenny scores and goals they were left too loose not marked, soo its easy for them to win
