Hi you can take speed train from Luangprabang to Vangvieng it takes only 1 hour. The Lao government don't have the money to fix the street. But their house look like mansion. Lol. I'm Lao.

You're right! But we heard stories from people we met that they took some of their stuff. And because we have an emergency kit with sharp tools we didn't want to lose that. But that for sure is one much faster and smoother way to go! One day when we're back we will take the train for sure!

It really is a nice place, especially the calmness you experience being there! It’s mostly cheap but accommodation is a bit pricey, which was very surprising for us.. Thanks! Say hi to Asia from me 😅

interesting and strange your understanding!!! Laos is a poor country and that's why you can't see a skyscraper? Should the well-being of the country depend on the number of skyscrapers? Apparently, you are not aware that it was previously prohibited to build skyscrapers in Laos, because the population is small and the land is plentiful!!!! but now in Vientiane it is already allowed to build a skyscraper, but the Patusai monument area and the Pha-tat-lung temple area cannot be built....and the city of Luang Prabang, skyscraper construction is absolutely very strict there, the roof of the house should not exceed the height of the trees, in Luang Prabang anyone renovating a building or the roof of a house must obtain permission from UNESCO protection.... It is also forbidden to build a skyscraper in Vang Vieng so as not to block the view of the mountains... So it turns out that in your opinion, Laos doesn’t want to be rich because they forbid the building of a skyscraper? Do you have any idea that the richest countries in the world such as Luxembourg and Liechtenstein do not have a single skyscraper? yes Laos may not be a rich country in ASEAN(ASEAN consists of 10 countries - Brunei , Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam). Laos has a small population a small population and therefore Laos does not have such megaprojects as other countries in ASEAN, but in terms of living standards and GDP per capita of Laos (per person), Laos is higher than in Vietnam, Cambodia and Burma

Really interesting comment, I’d suggest you to watch the whole video to listen to more arguments that are mentioned in the video. I see you took that really personally so I will explain a bit. There are plenty of things you look at when you come as a tourist and understand if a country is more on the poor side or on the rich side, am I wrong? The statement is from our experience in Laos and I stand with that, it’s a poor country. But, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad country! If you’d listen to me speaking you’d realise I mentioned I like the places a lot and that people are really kind! Have a nice day 😁

This is what I’m trying to explain to you. If a rich country depends on the amount of skyscraper construction, as you said, then in Laos would it be prohibited to build a skyscraper? and Luxembourg and Liechtenstein, which do not have a single skyscraper, would not become the richest countries in the world

Not about skyscrapers, but your country also still rely on neighbor's media and hospitals. You take advantage of Thailand and like to promote your tourism by dragging Thailand down. After gossiping Thailand to tourists, what you do is show Thai songs/culture/ food to tourist.

poor maybe , but more beautiful , nature is great , if you want looking for calm , for nature , & pure air , welcome to laos , if you want to eat go to vietnam , if you want culture , go to cambogia , if you want sex, sun , drugs , to go thailand, hahahahha
