When you refer to two different lenses of 85mm, don't use the term 'the 85' for both. 'Canon 85' would have been more clear. Otherwise, interesting video.

A friend of mine had some negatives of Metallica from back in 1983 that he asked me to develop on one of the circle discs from back then. I used my tablet as a light source and set up my camera. My Canon R5 with the tripod facing straight down. I was looking at your settings to make a long story short and I shot mine at a lower shutter speed so I can keep my ISO really low. Basically at 100 ISO. I noticed you 1600 I so which made your images pretty grainy. I know you can clean it up later on with softwares. As when I do Wildlife photography I use Denoise to clean up my images. But I was just wondering why you didn't use 100 iso. Anyways, thank you for this upload as I learned a lot from this review. I have two out of four of these lenses.

I have an R6, is still worth this lens even when you lose the focus bracketing? I want it for mushroom photography. Thanks!

Laowa are surprisingly good, good quality manual lenses, of course MF is often seen as preferred to AF on Macro lenses anyway, so Bargain as they say👍 good review Li👍

Hey.. it’s 1 year old but I’ll try. Recently I found that I have canon 5d mark II. And decided to try some macro . Spoke to one guy - deep in to foto, and he told me don’t go for 3rd party . Go originals. But I see a lot of good reviews for Laowa 85. So I’m confused. Laowa is available with rf-Ef changer , as I understand. And most famous 60mm and 100mm ef more expensive…and barely available. Any advises please . Thank you
