Wong is amazing... I grew up in a large Asian American community here in Lincoln Heights. It is difficult to live here but officers like Wong inspire me to be the best like my own mother. Never stop working hard for the ones you love. God bless all First responders and our Military 🇺🇸🐂

If all people would understand what you are going thru and what it takes to survive and come home to family in one piece then the crime rate would go down a lot! I was in LE for 6 years, I was an Operator for 2. While I wouldn't trade the experiences for anything, I saw the strain it took on my family. Being on call all the time, the driving in separate cars, not being able to drink, missing important dates and events, to me was not worth it. But being a good husband, and a good father was more important to me. Not to say that he's not any of those things, but that's why I left, and it was the best decision I ever made. Im assuming his wife was no interviewed because he is divorced, like the majority of cops. For me, two years later I'm tripling my paycheck in cyber security industry, and I get to spend more time with my family. I wish old dude the best. God speed!

I doubt I came across him in 1989-1990 when I was in Los Angeles, booking at Parker Center or eating lunch at King Taco, but my hat off to Wilson. The worst LAPD incident I had was when they landed an airship on the freeway to fly a child to LCMC. I was trained by one of his co-worker's brother. Make your retirement as long if not longer than your career. RIP Randy Simmons.

This man said he is married to his phone. I can just imagine how much time he spends with his family. Its the cost of the job but eventually you need to decide whats more important your job or your own family. I would never want to miss my kids best years of 4-17 when he needs me the most to be there for them.

I said "his JOB doesn't PERMIT him to live his life with his family like HE WOULD PROBABLY LIKE TO" i said this is my choice, i have made a decision. I wanted to join the military but i knew i wanted to make a career out of it like my cousins. But made a decision not to because i KNEW i wouldnt be able to spend as much time as id like with my kids when i had them. So instead i decided to make a business in financial services and now made $162,000 in the last 12 months. 40% of it was passive. So YES now if i were to have kids i can spend time with them yet sill giving them a great life. So go fuck yourself if you want to be a slave for someone else and put your kids last.

Sounds like a nice guy but I disagree saying he is top 2%. SWAT is completely different to regular police or police investigation which police actually do. One word say being a detective or being in spec area of investigations would be more of top %. Being able to work out n shoot doesn't make you a top % police officer.
