honestly they were pointless anyways vs that ak, it would probably do more damage than good, you have a chance of the round passing through with them off ( which is what you want )

@@Ledwow yeah fr. That 7.62 round would RIP a whole in the vest they had on. Plus they are able to move quicker with the less weight.

This is similar to an adam 12 episode...Reed and Malloy used their patrol car in a similar fashion to retrieve a wounded officer from the line of fire...except no vests..they used their leather jackets to cover the windows of their car.

@@sineadoconormcG it works if the cartridges being used against you can’t penetrate the vests, and the rifles shown here would go through the vests. Still better than nothing I guess.

@@Murphy82nd believe it or not the vest plus the door is fairly effective besides the combined armor of the then metal and the vest you also introduced airpockets and uneven surfacing which further swap energy from the round similar to how modern tank armor is designed.

You take 3 7.62 rounds center mass and see if that shit's comfortable.

@@stevengibilaro2578 Yeah the AK rounds will go through the vests but the kevlar will slow the rounds down quite a bit.

To cover up the car windows so they cant have an ez hit on them while they where driving to save the other cop who got shot
