LAPDCOPS: 1974 Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Training Film Narrated by JACK WEBB.
This was originally a 15 minute LASD Training Film that I edited down to 5 min 30 sec. In the narration, Webb speaks of himself as a police officer.
Since it was produced as a training film, no sound effects were added except for the radio calls in the beginning and the chase at the end of the film. It is odd to watch the video without being "sweetened" with sound effects. The last scene with the LASD Deputy getting out of his car, before the skid pan scene, I did not insert a car door slam sound effect and it seems noticeable.
I added a brief military drum beat as Webb is describing the officer's duty weapon and the police car. Also added gun shot sound effect (one of Universal's best...LOL!), background LASD radio calls, car motor, skids, siren and the "clink" sound effect of the officer grabbing the microphone. The EVOC skid pan sound effects are from the ADAM-12 episode "Training Wheels."
