I feel like she's just really honest in general. Right at the beginning of this clip she was directly telling us about what happened. Her sincerity with the audience is something I really respect about her as a person, and I feel like she's an special case even compared to other holomem.

@@Dendyaryadi last year she said she love to make/edit videos and shorts stuff. but youtube algorithm don't help with reach if you stream on the same account so she wanted to try streaming in twitch instead and use this account to share shorts and stuff. it was financially hard on her but her management said do whatever you want lol.

She's got several sponsorship from noodle brands since last year, I'm sure she's striking more deals later this year I think she's financially fine right now and should just do what she enjoys the most she is currently having a lot of fun despite mostly streaming from Twitch and it's fine for me

@@MUGEN44 shorts has less gain and reach focus on stream that's the new algorithm works if you do both on same channel. That's the same reason why most holomems doing vertical streams now so they get boosted in shorts algorithm as well but it happened recently

This wasn't the reason, it was stated in the clip but it was because the card she used to pay was empty. She could immediately pay it afterwards, meaning she uses different card for utilities. She just forgot to deposit money to the card.

Laplus does take care of her hygiene, she just forgot to bathe on that day. The fact that gas was cut off didn't help. Her room however is a different story. I should clarify she also cleans up the house sometimes, especially now that she has a cat to care of.

But mostly after a few year they might dropped their act and became more natural to their own personality

Honestly, I hope she finds out about multistreaming someday soon. I feel like that could resolve most of her problems, including viewership on shorts. She truly has been much happier and active recently, which is why I don't want that feeling to be lost by being forced to stream solely on KZfaq if her income keeps getting worse. She did promise us she would return if things get dire, so I have faith she will eventually choose multistreaming in the future. She seems to know what she's doing, so I know she must have a backup plan for this.

Earlier generations who took months to get their channels monetized have said multiple times the salary that Cover gave alone was enough for them to get by(bills, food, etc). If you know laplus alt acc and her side gig, you'll know she's the opposite of poor

I think "couldn't" imply inability or failure to do something in the past in the clip she explain the reason behind it how the card won't pay it since she didn't have enough balance on her card, i think if you watch the whole clip you can get the idea of it while it is not the cleanest translation imaginable, I'm still learning and i'm sorry if it's causing misunderstanding, it's not done out of malicious intent

@@yuhuiTL You're not wrong but it'll be better if you put quotation marks(eg. "couldn't") to avoid misunderstanding. I mean have you read the comments in this clip? People were talking/speculating how poor she is and how she's losing money while the clip in question is about her being pon, not her lack of money

She earns less than half of what she used to despite streaming so much more than ever before, which is something she already knew would be a problem eventually. Other than that, she's doing pretty well when it comes to views and followers. Most importantly, her mental health really has improved a lot and is much happier, not to mention she constantly collabs with many different streamers of all kinds. Overall, the experience has been positive for her but she really should consider multistreaming soon in order to solve her low payment issues, gain visibility to her shorts by the algorhytmn and keeping the VODs archived if she prefers being on Twitch. I don't think she knows about it and I believe that's the perfect solution.

I just want her have more confidence and doesn't engage to any troll/anti, I know she is one of the youngest in holo but she can ask for advice to her senpai. She has been more cheerful since moving on twitch and joining many intercollab event but majority of hololive viewer is on KZfaq and whoever give her the idea of shorts algorithm should apologize to her because it's so wrong at least from what I know

I understand that La+'s decided to stream on Twitch so her YT channel can focus on shorts and videos despite knowing she'll earn significantly less but I don't know how long she'll be able to keep this up. She has mentioned on stream before that she's not fully dependent yet and her mom does her accounting so her outlook might be different from other holomems who were already working adults when they came into Hololive.

The thing is, her videos actually get more views whenever she streams on KZfaq. If she wants to be on Twitch, that's fine and I respect her decision, she's definitely much happier now because of it. Which is why I have come to the conclusion that multistreaming would be the perfect way to solve her problems and I have faith she will eventually go for it.

@@foxfox1985 To be fair, multistreaming wasn't a thing back when Laplus made her decision to focus on Twitch. She has also proven to be unaware of many of Twitch's custom settings in the past. For example, she didn't know she could archive her streams by converting them into highlights until a few weeks ago and even then she's barely doing it. I think she genuinely doesn't know about multistreaming, but I could be wrong. She's a lot more level-headed than she lets on so I have faith she has something planned out to solve her income issues.

@@noiro2342 I'm aware but it is true that she's earning much less money than before. I watch all of her streams on Twitch and she has talked about her low payment many times. Practically nobody else in hololive is currently facing as many income issues as she has been for the last month or so. I'm hopeful she must have a plan to solve this out before it really becomes a problem, but I am worried about her sometimes. I feel like multistreaming would solve most, if not all of her ongoing problems, including getting more views for her videos due to the algorhytmn. As long as she wants to do it, of course. I respect her decision if she's still not comfortable streaming on KZfaq. She's a lot happier now and I don't want that feeling to be lost.
