You need to check if it's compatible then only you can decide whether to use it or not. Some programmable some SIO are non- programming so need to confirm it...

Hello Sir, this is nice video tutorial but unfortunatelly I didn't understand Hindi. I need an advise or your opinion. A customer brought to me an ASUS X441BA laptop with an issue not powering on, can't charging, no light at all. After some inspection I found as follows: - there is 12V present on battery pin with battery on board, so the battery is ok - 19V main rail seems to be OK, but - no output voltage from 3V and 3V ALW section, pin 3VEN and 5VEN zero voltage on controller IC of this section, - no 3V on power switch also. At this point I stopped, I didn't do anything further. just let the board alone. After a few days I recheck this board but you know what? Everything is OK, all sections are working properly like nothing's happened before, so I confused, how could it be? I assumed the ITE IC IT8995E-128 has bad firmware and need re-flashing, is it right?

Due to bad servicing technique, those two tactile push button switches are dead now. These kind of switches are not flux/wash proof and the alcohol/cleaning agent will get inside very easily. Use tissue paper and brush so that cleaning agent doesn't get to all other parts. You probably destroyed that FPC connector as well. I am not sure what kind of training you are providing to students, when you still need to learn proper soldering technique. We need to come out from old TV servicing standards. Learn IPC standard soldering technique and use desolder wicks. Those are made for properly doing the repairing jobs. You should use Kapton tape as well to keep the heat limited to the space. You are unwantedly heat cycling the other passives around that IC which is not good servicing practice. It may create bad solder joints to them. Also you cant keep the soldering iron too long on those pins. You are just frying that and if you work on sensitive ICs like ADCs or DACs, you will just kill them in no time. If I give you to solder a 5ppm voltage reference IC to solder on a board, what will you do to it ? Frying ? Even repairing product is an art which you need to learn.

Nothing was damaged in the process of SIO removal brother. And this method works for me and our students. We have repaired hundreds of thousands of motherboard with this technique without fail. It depends on the type of SIO used. If the SIO is programmable then it needs to be programmed after fixing. While those which need not be programmed can be installed as a normal IC.👍

I can't enter BIOS even after pressing DEL/F2/F8/F12/END KEY only it shows 'Prepare to Enter' after that "_" this Symbol keeps blinking on the Left Top Side. And I can't enter Windows also. I did every possible trick but nothing works. I did the RAM Changed, Processor Changed, PSU Changed, CMOS Battery Changed and also Reset the CMOS But nothing works, the CURSOR Still Blinks. So, what I will do! Please help me if anyone has the solution. Thank you.
