Many thanks for this video. Just used it to help me strip down a 10 year Inspiron N5010 (also a P10F with first gen i3-380m) I've aquired. Just did the thermal paste and thoroughly cleaned the dust/dirt that had accumulated in the fan. Back together now and running perfectly (and cooler). It already has an SSD and I reckon even at 10 years old it still has a few years life left to give.

De londe o melhor tutorial. Depois de 9 anos tomei vergonha na cara e abri o meu. Tava pegando fogo e pura sujeira. Troquei a pasta térmica, diminuiu 20 graus. Tava batendo os 94.

Nada como uma boa manutenção preventiva Tenta fazer 1x por ano pelo menos de 9 em 9 é um pouco complicado 😂😂😂

Super !! MERCI BEAUCOUP !! Ta vidéo m'a permis de changer le HDD en SSD sans trop de difficultés... même s'il y a beaucoup de vis et connexions à désassembler avant d'arriver au disque... Dell ne facilite pas les choses mais toi tu m'as permis de le faire !! Encore MERCI et mon PC te remercie aussi car il a gagné beaucoup en rapidité !!

Finalmente achei um video completo deste notebook. Amanha ja irei tentar trocar o hd por ssd e fazer a limpeza do cooler e trocar a pasta térmica. Excelente vídeo. Parabéns.

Show de bola. Possuo um desse há 6anos e infelizmente agora começou a apresentar problemas de superaquecimento a ponto de desligar e até mesmo aparecer tela azul. Será que ainda compensa investir nele ou parto pra outro? Abraços!

Depende muito das causas do superaquecimento! Se o superaquecimento está no chip sul, no norte/gpu ou no processador. Se você já fez a limpeza do cooler e a troca da pasta térmica do processador e mesmo assim o problema continuou, há grandes chances de haver um curto ou solda fria/rompida no norte/GPU. O tipo de solda feita é chamada de BGA, são varios pontos de solda, às vezes um deles ou alguns até, sofrem micro rupturas e acaba que força a passar muita energia por uma solda muito fraca, como se tentasse passar uma melancia por um funil, e aí causa o superaquecimento, em seguida o desligamento. Há como resolver, se o problema for solda, o processo se chama reflow, já o reballing e a troca do mesmo, não compensam por serem muito caros. Às vezes é só o cobre do dissipador que já está gasto demais, há um gás que fica dentro, que com o tempo de uso, vai perdendo as propriedades e prejudica a troca de calor (processo bem parecido com o do ar condicionado) Se o problema for no próprio processador, há como trocar ele separadamente, que seria bem mais simples. Espero ter ajudado!

Hello, what is chip at the left of heatsink handle? Is this graphic card? In other models from that series that chip is placed on the other side of the motherboard, and the heat is taken by radiator. Is some method to cool this place?

Przemysław Cyliński Hello! Yes, this chip is the Graphic Card! But the method for dissipation is different! The radioator is a metallic part under the keyboard, all of it. You can see the thermal tape in 6:53, when i'm opening. I hope that it helped Sorry about my english ✌🏻

I think the black foil takes the heat and dissipates it to the top casing (metal part) just below the keyboard.

Ótimo vídeo, mas o meu modelo não tem o parafuso visível do teclado, próximo as memórias rans e não estou conseguindo tirar o teclado sem quebrar. Sabe se tem outra forma de soltar o teclado ou acessar ao parafuso?

Olá! Olha eu não sei se vc conseguiu abrir, mas o meu é do mesmo jeito ... eu consegui normalmente, a única coisa que me preocupou por nada foi uma cola que tem no teclado. Ela fixa o teclado e parece que é um parafuso, mas não é. É só vc esquentar todo o teclado com um secador de cabelo e ir soltando aos poucos pra não quebrar e pronto. Ela solta tranquilamente

Normalmente não, é um aparelho silencioso. Dependendo do tipo de barulho que voce tá ouvindo, pode indicar algum problema. Se estiver fazendo um barulho de ventoinha girando muito forte, pode ser por causa de superaquecimento, muita sujeira presa no dissipador. Se for um barulho de tec tec, pode ser o HD começando a ter falha mecânica ou algo solto batendo no cooler.

Eu acho que não tem jeito, ele tem aqueles furos pras bolinhas de vga mas eu acho que não tem jeito, deve ser um experimento top hein... sinceramente, eu não arriscaria, em cima da vga sequer tem preparação pra refrigerar.

Até tem como, existem uns adaptadores que você coloca uma placa de vídeo de desktop ligado no lugar da placa de WiFi, na pci Mas o ganho de desempenho sempre fica limitado pelo processador O que ocorre muito, é o sistema de dissipação dele não aguentar e ficar desligando ele toda hora

Meu amigo você sabe dizer se esse era um i5 450 M ? Tenho que trocar meu cooler e percebi que o conjunto de cooler com o dissipador de cobre existem dois modelos disponíveis para comprar, um tem um quadrado de cobre bem junto ao cooler e o outro é esse que vc desmontou.... Não tirei minha placa mãe ainda.

Cara, fiz o procedimento igual ao vídeo aqui pq o note tava aquecendo muito (pasta térmica estava ressecada), mas não sei o que deu pois ele não liga mais. Montei e desmontei umas 3x pra ter certeza das conexões dos fios, e nem sinal de vida dá mais.

Podem ser 2 coisas simples, como pode ser algo mais complicado. Depende muito dos sintomas atuais dele. Se ele liga mas não gera imagem na tela, é um sintoma (Mau contato nas memórias, que bastaria passar uma borracha nos contatos dela, ou o socket do processador aberto, aquele parafuso que trava o processador) Agora, se ele não liga mesmo, nem ascende o power na hora de ligar, já podem ser outros problemas. O meu eu desmontei e ele ligou e funcionou mas depois morreu e era apenas o botão power ... Comprei um novo botão no Ali e deu certo... Mas agora vou ter que trocar o cooler que está dando um estralo e a temperatura do processador está chegando a 98° 🔥

Hey Kumar! Can be 2 things! Your operating system with some bug, virus or wrong config or your Hard Drive! You can test the HD with a great program: "HD Sentinel"

Your Hard Drive need be with 100% Health and Performance. If shows up less than that, you need replace for another, or for a SSD that is the better option today

Just a heads up for anyone trying to open one of these up. When i was disassembling the laptop i accidentaly bent the keyboard when removing it, under his left palm on 4:47 under the keyboard there is a small metal pin keeping the keyboard in place after the plastic hinges has been undone (i did use force when removing the keyboard....).

Ola! Ele não é de esquentar muito, ocorre normalmente quando o cooler está com a passagem obstruída por poeira.

Os dell são de esquentar muito sim. Tenho um desse n5010 tava batendo 94 graus. Mesmo com a pasta nova ele ainda fica quente (74º).
