Fabian can speak *4* languages fluently or as she puts it, "without thinking" and for 3 of those she was raised in an immersive environment which allows one to acquire the "target" language in a natural, intuitive way.(The 4th i.e., Spanish, is so closely related to those that she already possesses in her repertoire and is so widely spoken in the world that it's only natural that it would be added to the list. One might want to note how she struggles with Portuguese even though it too is among those of primarily Latin origin except that it is _not_ as universally embraced.) Any proficiency in the other idioms alluded to - would require a great deal of time and effort to achieve. She has taken some steps in that regard and for that she may deserve praise however, ...again, for those(languages) that she truly speaks she benefitted from an advantage - due to her "multi-cultural" upbringing that many uni-lingual or bi-lingual persons do not have the opportunity to enjoy.
