So glad you enjoyed her. This recording was from the turn of the Century, 1999 or 2000, and when Dimash first heard her he was a school lad. How could he not be impressed with her voice, but it was the other elements of her performance which opened his eyes to how a singer can become a complete artist by being totally absorbed by the music and the message of the song. Obviously, he learned well. They are good friends to this day and one video on you tube is when Lara is at home and she calls Dimash on the phone to wish him Happy Birthday and she sings it to him.
