The connection is coming from Dimash: he is a fan since he is a child. She is one of his main inspiration in the way he performs and builds his song. Lara has been the preferred singer of Igor Krutoy for many years before Igor and Dimash collaborated. Dimash did cover several of her songs: -Adagio (she co-wrote it) - Mademoiselle Hyde (she wrote it) - vocalize ( lyrics were added for him and the song was renamed it Know) - Love of the Tired Swans He did cover Love is like a dream after her own cover of it. She wrote the lyrics of Your Love for him. And they sang Ti Amo Cosi together in trio with Aida Garafulina! This is a song that Lara performed several times with other trios before this one with Dimash. So al lot of connections between these 2.
