The video has been recorded on a sicilian beach, close from Lara’s home. The man you see at the end walking with her is her husband Gabriel. He is sicilian. I believed the song was created by Lara (and Slimane) about Gabriel. My assumption (Lara was never explicit about it) is the following: During years, Gabriel has given priority to Lara, moving to Quebec with her, stopping his direct activity as a magician (she talks about her magician in the song). But maybe recently he got homesick and a bit depressed. The song talks about this. They both decided to sell their house in Montreal and move to their house in Sicilia. Now Gabriel feels better at home, planning a tour as a magician again. And the serenity and the sunny weather in this video are highlighting they are in a positive mood again and together. The song is about offloading the sorrow of your partner or friend, and finding a better state of mind together.
