Nobuo Uematsu is one of the greatest composers of our time in my opinion. It's so incredible that he's completely self taught. Not many composers can boast that that claim.

I'd like to correct that the first theme played is called "Final Fantasy 7 Main theme", and Aeris' is actually Aerith's Theme. Love your work btw.

Uematsu has singlehandedly shaped my life. I don't know where I'd be or what kind of person I'd be if I'd never played 7 and gotten hooked on FF and a massive part of that was the 7 soundtrack.

That Am chord that hits after the Dadd9 in Aeris' theme is such a strong moment. Also, that entire song virtually skirting around the A major chord so that we never really get the A to D resolution (V - I) is so powerful.

Hi Lara, I found your channel back when you did a mashup of "Friday" and "Nyancat" like a million years ago, then rediscovered it when you did the megamedley and I have just been lurking since. I watched your burnout video from a while ago and it really struck a chord (as with a lot of other people). Just wanted to say, I'm such a huge fan of your medleys/collections. I'm not super musical, so I don't know how hard that is for you compared to other types of streaming, but I usually let them play in the background while I'm working. I’m in love. The music for the first 9 games was so impactful while playing. No voice actors. Just had music to convey everything. The music from 7 is some of the best work done. These versions are awesome I enjoyed every moment. Keep up the amazing work!
