Hello Michael, I accidentally came across your video. I don't have any space for a layout, so to watch you operate your layout was very uplifting and evoked happy memories of my uncle who loved his trains (also planes, bikes, cars etc) and also liked all the latest mod cons! I'm now going to catch up on your back-catalogue of videos! In the meantime, Happy New Year!

MIchael. I think I commented on someone else's page that isn't it amazing that Bachmann wagons seem to be disappearing from layouts and Accurascale in particular are replacing them?. I looked at Bachmann DB hoppers HKA at £60 each and then Accurascale announced their own hoppers for GBRF and Fastline, £35 each. I run long trains like you so it's a no brainer when you are buying a dozen or so. Anyway many thanks for all your videos this year. Layout is lovely and I have taken some ideas from you. Take care and until next year.
@michaelsmith-hn1cn3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Marin. My exact thoughts why would you buy Bachmann or Hornby when you can buy better and at a better price. The good thing with Accurascale the more you buy the cheaper they are. The other manufacturers want to take a leaf out of their book and stop ripping us off. Happy new year to you. Mick
@maringarvanovic60403 жыл бұрын
Mick. They really do need to wake up. I bought 18 PFAs at the same time that Bachmann re released their 4 wheel grain hoppers. That design is heavy, clumsy and over 20 years old with some new couplings. RRP is £35 versus £23 for the PFAs. I cannot fault Hornbys KFA but I have not bought a single Bachmann product in 2020.
