In this Vlog we go onboard Birddog 275 (Lead Plane), which is the control aircraft for the Large Air Tankers (LAT's). The footage captured by Inspector Rolf Poole and features Air Attack Supervisor Steve Hartgrove of the NSW RFS and gives a behind the scenes view of how these large aircraft operate on the fire ground. The Vlog gives great insight into NSW RFS Air Operations, starting from the arrival of the aircraft on scene through to what occurs after they complete their drops.
